  • CB750 fork removal and front end disassembly. In this video I show you how to remove your cb750k front suspension and forks.
This is part one in a two part series about removing your motorcycle forks. Part two will detail the replacing of the leaky old fork seals.
As usual, I'm not a professional motorcycle tech, so your mileage may vary.

I have a 77 cb750a (hondamatic) and I'm planning on doing a disassembly of my front fork as well. Just wanted to thank you for the walk through. I'm installing new ears and a front emblem. The ears are bent and the emblem was missing.

Do you really need to remove the turn signals and loosen the headlight to remove the forks? It seems you should be able to do all the wheel, fender and caliper removal as shown and then loosen the triple tree clamps and the forks slide out? Asking because I'm about to change my fork boots and want to do as little as possible.

No. You don't have to. I had removed them because I was planning to install some new, aftermarket headlight "ears" but I ran out of time and just put the stock signals back on.

Mike can you maybe do videos on your pets? That would be fun too. 👍

Yup! My dad bought those for me a couple years ago. But I'm an odd Canadian... I watch more Formula One and Road Kill than I do ice hockey!

Dude, your top triple clamps are missing their fork top bridge spacers.

Sell that bike to someone who will appreciate it and take care of it.
