This is the full review is the Blackview BL6000 Pro 5G
I have been using the phone for more than half a year now. Fingerprint reader broke after a month or so, the Blackview service could not care less, same as the AliExpress dispute manager. So say goodbye to fingerprint unlocking your apps, like PayPal, Google pay and so on, welcome back email and sms confirmation. Also the touchscreen sometimes stops reacting properly. And there are several bugs, like in the WhatsApp call the buttons to accept or deny the call do not disappear. All in all, I have to say that it looks like an unfinished product, especially so, since many, many people complain about the same issues online. I even read about them before buying the phone, but I thought, that those were single cases and I would most likely get a phone with all the promised features working. Blackview is a professional company after all, right?
Hi, I had the same problem. I was really looking forward to this phone and was disappointed. I go hiking and needed a durable phone. I thought it would last me years. I had it for 3 months. The manufacturer ignored me. Before that, I had an ordinary smartphone that was much more durable.
Worst rip-off I've ever caught on a smartphone. I bought the bl6000 6 months ago. In two months the glass has crawled in various places and the indestructible perimeter armor has cracked in the corner. Immediately the photos turned out to be of very bad quality, with unlikely colors and lights. Fingerprint recognition only works occasionally. Has charging problems with the original charger. Since two weeks the keyboard does not show up when clicking in the text line. The phone's spec sheet makes it look like a quality product, but instead it belongs to the cheap phone segment
this phone is shit
I hope this phone is worth the wait, ordered on June 3rd, still waiting, 😆
Mine left Singapore on June 21st. Did you get yours yet?
I have small hands and the volume buttons are confusing since they aren't connected to each other. When I'm watching something if my hand brushes the fingerprint sensor the pause screen pops up and still does even if I turn the fingerprint function off. Pop socket won't stick dive l since the back is rubberized. So overall awkward to hold. The camera has a built in smoothing effect that is really strange and camera zoom is delayed which makes you zoom in more than necessary than zoom back out
Great specs but I noticed over time the power/ restart button was jamming. I would say keep this as a backup phone
I love the form factor here. The phone just looks firm you know
Que ganas de ver lo que ofrece este telofno! Me parece que tiene un potencial enorme!
Lo mismo pienso

U cannot see difference 0,8 or 1,5s finger opening
Does it have WIFI-calling.??
Blackview is offering a pretty decent device with the Dimensity processor.
Thanks for the review. I have had several Blackviews, and they have all had that focusing problem.

@@OrrWeisbergReviews Ok you started counting from the previous day, I got it now. Anyways, thank you for reviewing this phone. I am planning to buy one and was really searching for a better review. Love from Bangladesh.
Please guys before purchasing this phone like unfortunately i did read comments on indiegogo to see how they treat clients and how good this phone is...then ..if you ignore it...happy buying

I have this one
Can you plug in a card reader to upload images and video to the phone?
From an external camera or SD card reader
@@ManicPandaMedia not sure, maybe with the right adapter
How do you download the storage to move it..to your desk top, etc?
Plugging the USB cable from the phone to the PC, you don't always have to remove your sd card in fact removing your sd card a lot can corrupt it.
I just got mine 5 days ago, very excited about it. Tested it out, camera is like a 12 mp. Not so good. So third party apps will work. Finger print button glitch on youtube (bad location) and LED flash is almost in the middle section. Everything else is great. Try to get a clear case and screen protector. Nice video bro. Thank you.
The camera is much high mp but lacks a stabilizer so do with that what you will
Hello, I heard it has touch screen issues? You facing any? What's your comment?
I gave up on it. For me it was a waste of money. I like a phone that runs smooth. This was not a good experience for me. Maybe it was a bad one out of a bunch.
What's the price of this phone
Around 400
I just bought this phone and the 5G is very slow and I'm thinking of sending it back if I can't get support from Blackview.
I mean...what is your plan? a 5G supported phone is only useful if your plan supports it.
Will you do a review on the new ulefone armor 9e?
Many already reviewed it
@@OrrWeisbergReviews Hi mate, which one would you recommend, BV9900 PRO or BL6000 PRO?
From your reviews they seem pretty much the same in terms of smoothness, soft quality and camera quality.
Only one has 5G and the other has more functions like thermal cam and other few cool gadgets.
What is your opinion between the two, which one functions better and is more worth it?
thanks, dude as an archaeologist i ordered one hopefully it will survive the elements like my old ulefone armor 3, looking forward to trying the new BLackveiw BL6000 Pro in the field and in harsh environments
How you are using it as an ACHEOLOGIST ?
@@Dredziowata it can withstand all the dust and sand while doing excavations and it can withstand falls on the stones :)
Im also an archaeologist! And always breaking my phones! Thinking about this one! Thanks!
@@jonasarche just got it today it's light and rugged. its design is 10/10. so far it is a very amazing phone
@@urielprince12 does it take decent photos?
boring
Then these reviews aren't for you
@@OrrWeisbergReviews the phone is it's you taking you time to tell us the finger print works what a waste of my time ! Muppet
@@082Trav so you don't care how the fingerprint works, got it. Can't say the same for basically everyone though who do care how it works
@@OrrWeisbergReviews it's a unbreakable underwater phone test it in your hot tub and then show me it works FFS all phones have a fingerprint button and face scanner it's got 258gb memory fill it and tell me it works you call that a review get a life pal
@@082Trav yea cause you know, most people care about the small things that will affect your overall experience, not just durability.
I'd say the typing bug is not minor...
Most people type on facebook, instagram, whatsapp all the time.
That's why I have second thought about buying any chinese phone, I hear so many crappy comments about their software that is soooo buggy and fucked up, but then there are the people that had these phones for years and saying they are good... So not sure what to believe.
I believe in my Ulefone Armor 7e. :) I'm using it for a 3 months and it's perfect. Looks better than 8, 9 and 10, only armor 11 actually has the same decent look as 7e.
I like this Blackview very much thanks to the design and 5G. I would buy it if they solve the typing problem. Also I'm a bit nervous about the breakable glass...
Doogees caught my eye but they have a lame support in my country so that's a no go.
Also, Armor 9 has the thermo camera, armor 11 has a night vision, armor 10 has much better normal camera but doesn't have any special like 9 or 11.
I'm about to buy another rugged phone for a family member and I also don't know wich one I should buy...looking for something better than my 7e.
@@czechmate6475 I just got myself BV9900 Pro, and it's amazing.
But I must admit the Night vision thing is awesome.
@@vhaleryanadamant1975 Cool, that was one of my top 3 choises. I already forgot what kept me from buying it so I will come back here later to ask you one or two critical questions if you don't mind. ':D
@@czechmate6475 Shoot away.
I kinda mastered the phone already.
So far no bugs.
Thermal camera bugs sometimes (in terms of visual colors) but you just click on a button to "reset" it and works just fine in 2 seconds.
Android 10 on it is very cool.
Fingerprint unlocking works amazing.
Speakers are loud, very loud, especially with the booster speakers option inside the phone.
Recording quality is decent and picks sounds quite good, but it's also noisy.
Camera is decent really, doesn't focus like a champ but it's good enough to take beautiful pics with good quality.
Haven't tested it in water because I am afraid honestly, if it breaks then I'm screwed, so I'd rather not do that :))
But shoot away any questions you might have.
If it wasn't this phone it would have been Ulefone armor 9 cuz it has better battery.
P.S. battery holds just fine, but it's 73% as I am typing to you and the day is almost over.
But I am not a hardcore user, had a few phone calls and some facebooking over the day.
@@vhaleryanadamant1975 Thank you for your insight.
I am the master of breaking my phone accidentaly. And I would go all *buttons* if my family wouldn't require a modern ways of communication. ':D So all of 9900 specs looks amazing to me, you definetely made a great choise there.
I'm thinking, how does it feel to hold the phone? Is it for example always cold? Do the side buttons feel kind of stiff? ':)
