By the way, why Michael cannot talk is because his lungs got messed up from the scooper, so, in return he cannot talk. He also only carries ennard with him for a sort of endoskeleton. Later, mike creates an endoskeleton for himself that includes a voicebox.

He is indifferent to Mike mostly- he didn’t know that Mike was actually Mike at the start, and starts to warm up after realizing he’s trying to change for the better. CC is still a bit cold to Mike, but he still takes recognition of his efforts to be good.
(Also, I have a lot of plot holes since I don’t script these series, so my bad if he acted over-friendly-)
