Early Summer Lake Gaston Bass Fishing

This Episode I explore the area around where my Memaw & Papaw bought a house on Lake Gaston. Been out here one time Before. It was a learning curve for sure like any new lake is. First Day I went out on the Prowler 13 in search of topwater bass mostly. The bite was tough the first day even put the topwater down & tried bladed jigs (jackhammer) & some other things like flipping docks etc. We explore the area around there down to Roanoke Rapids. DeeDee & I ended up Having a little catfishing session down by the park by grandmas house where the cats were biting very well. I cant wait to explore this area more & share with you my experience of learning to fishing this great fishery. Hope you enjoy !

Try and take that kayak out on Saturday or Sunday during the summer and those crazy bastards will sink you with a wake boat. You must have been there during the week lol. Place is crazy bad!!
