The word "luktelk" in Lithuanian means "wait" or "hold on" in English. It is an imperative form of the verb, used to ask someone to pause or wait for a moment.
If the National selection only had a single-show final, Silvester wouldn't have won in the slightest. Luktelk has gained so much steam over the last month.
I am a little bit worried on how the juries will recieve this song, since there aren't many vocal moments, so what I would change in the song is maybe inject a little vocal adlibbing before the dance break and after the bridge.

Ight so this one doesn't really do anything for me - like I can appreciate it for being a really decent entry, but I'm surprised just how popular it became both in Lithuania and the fandom. I can see it doing solid numbers like 7th - 13th. Interestingly, it's kinda giving me Greece 22 vibe, in that ik you loved it and thought it was winner potential, and I felt about it exactly how I feel about this.
Lithuania has chosen yet another great track! It's not giving winner vibes, but it's definitely coming for that left side of the board once again, I would even dare to say it's a top 10 contender for now! Semifinal 1 is gonna be really tough indeed, but I think they're making it as well! If they manage to amplify the NF staging for Malmo, then this will be definitely a threat to Olly Alexander and Mustii!
I don't LOL. Not in the slightest. 1) I always get nervous about young performers and Silia is young. 2)Last year I thought Europe might want more of a party, but I wasn't surprised or upset Andrew advanced, the song was fine. It's impossible for someone to say there's any country I have an issue with. AND Cyprus... come on- they've been in my top 10 pretty consistently.
Remember when Cyprus had one of the best songs at Eurovision 2022 and still didn't qualify. The semifinal is STACKED and Cyprus is first half. She has direct competition. I have faith they'll deliver but we're going to lose at least 2 solid entries in this semifinal. Please refrain from getting on the internet making assumptions.
Let's not kid ourselves, this song is neither original or performance groundbreaking. Definitely not the ESC winner material. But it IS the best song and performance from the selectetion and local market more than appreciates it as it hasn't left the #1 spot since release. Great vibe, gets stuck in your head for hours. That is it about this one. Signed,- a person who burned several euros voting for this song.
Honestly, I don't get the hype of this song. The tone of his voice is very monotone and flat. He's almost talking rather than singing and that hook chorus luktelk luktelk luktelk, is repetitive and is annoying to me. I do like the beat of this song, however, I wouldn't put into my top 5, I might put into my top 10, however something else could come along and change that, or maybe not. What I'm thinking is, what would casual fans of Eurovision think of this song? Eurovision fans are hyping this song up, but would casual fans get that hype?
How on earth can you say that Cyprus could definitely be out??? You lose your credibility just by claiming such a thing for a song you haven’t heard and haven’t even seen the staging!
Clearly I don't mean deinfitely. I said it COULD (that's possible) because of the direct competition from other email performers in the semi. Everyone knows I want folks to do their best so we can have the most competitive Eurovision.
AND. To be clear: the thing that would have me losing my credibility is saying that we will get the majority of songs qualifying from the first half of the semi when ALL the statistics prove how unlikely that is.
I really like the staging, the styling, the dancers, the vocal is ok, but the song does NOTHING for me. The chorus is so repetitive but in a bad way, especially cause the song goes nowhere. It sounds like a club banger that you forget in the morning. 🤷
I said I was concerned... Shes a young performer who hasn't been on a big stage like this AND that semifinal is going to be really difficult even for seasoned performers. AND we've got lots of young feamal performers who are going to deliver bops. I'm hopeful for everyone AND realistic about the challenges they'll all face- you should be too.
I am following every NF this year and my opinion is that this song is already totally overrated. There are a lot of better songs. Should we vote only for stagging? humm..If the staging was a bit less attractive the song would be less overrated. I understand the desire for the country to win,but this song is not winning. Simply as it is.
@@sav0001 I really enjoyed the Roops song the lyrics were meaningful and the impressive dance moves made me smile but Sylvester's song is like a snore in a melody disguise - it's so boring and uninteresting .

Well, we are FAR from having all the songs so there's still space for some heavy hitters to HIT. But as of now, this is one of the stronger packages.
I do find it a performance and vocal to admire rather than one to vibe with emotionally. Way too introvert.

I dont know why but reminds me depeche mode. Probably the quality.
Definately not a winner allert, juries are ignoring
How can you judge without listening to the song and without having watched the staging? It is obvious that you are prejudices against Cyprus
I said I was concerned... Shes a young performer who hasn't been on a big stage like this AND that semifinal is going to be really difficult even for seasoned performers. AND we've got lots of young feamal performers who are going to deliver bops. I'm hopeful for everyone AND realistic about the challenges they'll all face- you should be too.
aš myliu silvester belt jis yra musu pop star
I am following every NF this year and my opinion is that this song is already totally overrated. There are a lot of better songs. Should we vote only for stagging? humm..If the staging was a bit less attractive the song would be less overrated. I understand the desire for the country to win,but this song is not winning. Simply as it is.
So far, Ukraine and Norway only sound better than Lithuania to me.

Who you?
Bad song
Wrong choice of song ,The Roop with song "Smple joy"should be chosen
Absolutely not, that song would struggle to qualify

I really enjoyed the Roops song the lyrics were meaningful and the impressive dance moves made me smile but Sylvester's song is like a snore in a melody disguise - it's so boring and uninteresting .

Boring
