Charmie is 27 years old from Bohol Philippines. Andre on the other hand is 34 year old and from Germany.
We met each other online on April 2021. We both are married with our exes but Andre is now divorced and Charmie lives separated.
We met for the very first time in person after LDR exactly after 1 year😊.
Now, we are living together in a very simple lifestyle.
We made this Channel to share our life and hoping to inspire others as well especially those who found their love ONLINE.

Being late is disrespectful...We as human beings need to be respectful towards others,,,ethics is of outmost importance to survive in this world.
Spot on! Im currently in a condo Makati. One day one side of the cooktop blew up..faulty product installed throughout the building i found out. Thankfully we were nit touching it when it occurred. When it happened the breaker did not trip and power was continuing through the defective unit. When the service person came i showed him the breaker..power still going through with the breaker being off. I got the "Its ok it's turned off" It took two emails and a second service person to finally pull and replace the breaker. They do not like it when your in disagreement with them..or telling them what is wrong. BTW I lease the unit. AND they will continue to deal with these defective units unit they all blow or fail...unlike what would be done in my home country.
Great attitude! I have lived in Canada, the USA, the UK, Spain, and Costa Rica in my 60 years, and I will soon continue life in the Philippines. Balance work/ life is a challenge in most places. USA and Canada we get consumed by our work & goals often too much. This imbalance affects marriages only too often. Agree so much "it's good enough." Many people worldwide getting lazy and only do minimum they have to for their job. My x and I always outworked others beside us because always pushing to be better, get more done, get it done effectively. Our kids working in UK rose very fast in management there with attitude they learned from us. 99.9 % of workers beside them think they are weird trying so hard always. Obviously, you're correct on observations in the Philippines, but only too often now similar challenges exist in many cultures. We can learn good things from each place we visit or live in. 😊😊😊

Here in England, for repairs, deliveries, etc, we are told this will be at am or pm on such a date. Quite often, nobody/nothing turns up! You take a day off to wait for a plumber, electrician, delivery, etc, and it is a waste of your time.

I was raised in America by German parents. America has many different cultures in it. The Philippines also has many different cultures. I think Germany is mostly homogeneous in terms of culture. Because of this, I think Germans are more prone to clash with Filipinos and Americans because of this. There are always people that are exceptions in every culture. Of course, every culture has it’s pros and cons.
Andre you have had a good upbringing from your parents...with your logic and responsibilities, and financial matters.
You are a very open minded and supportive person. 👍

You have a choice, accept or go elsewhere. It's really a shame. Because this country could be much more prosperous, it could grow.

Perfection unfortunately is no longer true here in England. Shoddy workmanship reigns supreme, plumbers, builders, tilers, apart from some exceptions, do not take pride in their trade. When we moved into our brand new house, we had two pages of snags. Among them, all taps were leaking, radiators leaking, worse of all, two gas leaks, one in the lounge, one in the garage. We could have been blown up at any time.
Liked your vlog. I am an American Indian or as others may say a Native American. Our cultures and the lifestyles are really laid back too, especially on the reservations. We had to learn to be on time and learn to be the best at what we do so we could be competent living among the dominant culture in order to be successful.
Thats how a very good attitude and with this attitude, people often succeed ☺️

I'm a nurse, I hate my job and it makes me unhappy. I have to do it for family, and yes as a nurse I want to help others but the nature of the job makes me so unhappy. I do it because maybe one day my loved ones wont be me, and instead follow your advice, make less money, but be content whether at work or at home. Right now, my path is paved, I'm in too deep. I used to make a lot less money but was content with work, that was a logistics job where I ran operations... but alas I chased higher wages and now I've been miserable for 5 straight years as a nurse.
Oh hope things will change for you🥹🙏🏽. Sometimes we have to leave something in order for us to be happier and as we grow older, happiness will play a big rule ☺️

Me and my Fiancé did the land tour, but no water tour. We've been long distance for 4 years. Her k1 visa interview is on June 20th, wish us luck, with love from Texas!

Andre buddy. Love your vlogs . Everything and every word is 100% accurate. Totally everything word for word is perfectly valid . It’s two totally different totally separate often two different worlds from hard working western values and Bahlana Na Okay nman Filipino world . There are unlimited economic, social and political reasons for Germany and The Philippines are very different countries and very different people. I agree with everything you say and we could probably tell another ten reasons to agree with about the many differences .

I said 3 times that I do the vlog to let germans know that THEY need to adjust the fact that filipinos are different. I even said it in the most direct way I can, that is us (foreigners) who needs to adjust. I have said couple times that I do not wanna offend Filipinos and that my intention is not to let filipinos feel bad. :-D
I am sorry but I really don´t get your point and I do not know why you feel offended :-D ?
Fact is: there are 100 thousands of filipino/international couples in the Philippines and if we want to understand each other, we need to learn that we are different. To accept that we are different we need to learn to talk open about it. Thats all what I wanna do with this vlog. Helping other mixed couples and show them that they are not alone with their couple issues and misunderstandings.
And I just wanna say in a relationship its also about "give and Take" so if a Filipina wants to live with a foreigner, of course she needs to adjust as well and she needs to give understanding for the fact that her partner grows up different.
So from that side, your point of view that its just foreigners who needs to adjust is a little bit ignorant. Filipinos are living mostly from tourists so of course it should be a "give and take" also when it comes to understanding and adjustments.
If you think that I wanna just preaching and try to change the filipino culture then I really suggest that next time before you start accusing someone, please take your time and listen to the content carefully and do not jump thru the video. "no offense"

Philippines have lots of Island, most Island have nothing, i am from Bohol, now i live in Germany, i know everything about Germany.
I will tell mostly German Man , earn not much money , search filipinos women ( pinay) because those Men have Problem to fine a good Germany ladies. Most German ladies want their lover earn much money. Buy a good car.
By us filipina When we know foreigner Men want to have Relastioship, for US very interesting because were not easy to fine a filipinos lover.
Filipina think foreigner are rich and a good Job.
What i learn i knew more filipina here in Germany marriage a German man, most of them worked cleaning, and have earn money helped here in her German family.
Like me my husband his painted job ,not much earn money , i don't have money for my breakfast ,i never eat every breakfast, never happened before my life. Only in Germany, Shame, André telling too much Germany, here so many people no work, Homeless. . 😮

I am a German and I am criticism my own Country all the time. If you know so much about germany then you will agree that germans are the biggest criticism themselves when it comes to Germany... do you know why? Because we always think we can do things even better and better and we are never happy with the current situation.
As a German living in the Philippines I hear always, almost every week, Filipinos blaming the government, blaming the system, complaining about korrupt police and and and...
But once you say something about the filipinos and you mention something about Filipino mentality... you are directly the fool and the bad person who doesnt show respect :-D
"If you want changing for your life, you can only change yourself... " thats what my grandmother used to said. And she is right because if you sit there waiting for everyone else to change.... you gonna wait your whole life :-)

Very true Andre. It is so frustrating to say buy a tricycle or a van to give a family member an opportunity to earn money then find out they sub contract to others and then sit at home and do nothing all day .
You ate spot on with your opinons of Philippines. Not all but many. Its is all about money with many.
