That Perm supporter said it well. There are not many Youth Academies in Russia or Eastern Europe from which native players could grow as good players and play in the national team. The team sponsors want quick results without investing in an academy and youth players that will take some years to bring results. Romania has one youth academy at Viitorul Constanta but that is not enough. In Germany on the other hand many clubs have academies.

problem russia is lot bigger in size and less condensated, france and germany for example are more condensated and have more immigration since 40 years so they invested early in academies because they had a period where they had a lot of youth coming from immigration or poor parents and better make them footballers than drug dealers or criminals for those that didn"t get in in school... to come back to rusia there is academies but they are concentrated in moscow from what i know especially spartak moscow have good youth academies and infrastructures.

Since in Russia it snows and it’s cold why not make more dome stadiums

    • @runi5413

Yeah. And since Gazprom is sponsoring the league, heating a stadium should't be that much of a problem... It's a good question, dome stadiums would make a lot of sense. They're more expensive to build, but I imagine a lot more fans would come to the games if they didn't have to sit outside in -10 degree weather.

Smoking perhaps is the dummy thing an athlete can do tho because you need your lungs to run but if your in winter break or something like that then it’s ok let him live his life. Effin Bayern Munich players celebrated winning league by drinking beer moderation is key !!!

Why would you go to Russia if you are playing with the German national team? Makes no sense.

Let’s not forget Russia played in the quarter finals of the World Cup and lost on penalties and Germany got knocked out in group stage. And the gap in wealth between top teams and bottom teams is even worse in Germany. Bayern wins the league every season. Dortmund and Leipzig finished 2nd and 3rd. It’s more predictable than the Russian league to be honest. Is Dw run by Americans, why are you so Russophobic?

Why should it be better than the Russian league? The Russian league is the 6th best league in the world and its teams are able to play in the champions und Europa league. Chinese teams would even struggle to win against a team from the 3rd Bundesliga.

    • @abdallaalamri4181

Artem Gaus Not 6th best in the world but in Europe. I think either the Brazilian or Argentine league is stronger than the Russian league.
