Welcome to this Pimplers family ❕ - Спорт
You have absolutely nailed it. Great explanation. You have communicated the following phenomena very effectively. If the incoming ball has slight top spin, LP players should be aware that if they try to push or chop, they will not be able to impart much spin due to the not grabbing nature of their LPs. They should also know that their opponents will guess the spin direction correctly with that move. And that will allow the opponents to attack. Instead, the LP players should let their pimples do some magic for them by blocking that top spin ball or do a drive like (top spinish like movement against that ball.) This will trick many opponents that the LP player sending them a flat or top spin ball, (which is a deadly mistake, as that ball will have slight back spin). And the reverse is also true, if the incoming ball has a back spin, and in you push that ball, you will be generating slight top spin, or flat ball, contrary to the unexperienced opponent's expectations of backspin. Whoever masters these well in their games can get a ton of mileage from their long pimple rubbers.

So if its fast but float serve i just can use a normal backhand drive?
This is a great question. Actually one of the main struggles for long pips is always long service with no spin. Because theory says long pips doesn’t add spin. It means that if the opponent serve like this, long pips will answer no spin ball easy to be attack. My advice here for long pips users is to use this speed on their favor and answer with an other long one. You can do this pushing or, as you well said, with a normal backhand. Just remember don’t separate your elbow so much from your body, if not you will send the ball out of the table. I hope it is useful. If you have more questions, I’m happy to help. Regards.
Thanks for the info. you got some videos on how to answer long and short float serve?@@diegox.longpips
