I needed this. I was just speaking with my husband this morning in how I don’t want to be one of those Christian’s that are on fire in church but a devil during the weekdays! We have got to keep pressing forward and fighting this battle!

I am a backslider who is hearing the Lord's call loudly today. The vultures have had a feast on me and I didn't even know it. Preaching in my past did not address issues that gave understanding to my condition. I used to blame the pastor, the brethren, and myself for my backsliding, but now I see that it is the enemy's flock of vultures that have taken every commitment and sacrifice I tried to lay at the altar and feasted upon them. Pray for me, please Brother Herring, I need the prayers of a Saint who truly understands the way the enemy works. I will be back among the Congregation of the Living God this weekend, regardless of my circumstance, and I will, I do believe in the Victory that Christ won for my soul. This message is full of Truth, Power, and Might! Thank You, Jesus! Thank You for Your Word and for never having let me slide so far that I might be lost for all Eternity!!! In Jesus Name, Amen!
I've was a backslider for 30 years. Was prayed over and prophicied over that God called me to be a youth minister and evangelist. Was a preacher's/pastor's kid. Was molested by a youth minister so I ran from God. After 30 years of family praying a memorial pray, I came back to God. Refilled with the Holy Ghost and speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance. Now I'm living for God and working on the ministry that God gave me. No matter what we've done God can and will bring us back from it.
