ive had this phone for about a week now
and this phone is a power monster
the batery is the best on a smartphone wright now ,the camera is stunning
the screen is beautifull
the phone is light
and the white version looks better than
this black one
those who hate on lg g2 are just not used to see lg make such a great phone
yes is has many samsung futures
but hey
they did better than samsung
i gave up my samsung for this and dont regret it
i know how to hide the capacativity buttons so when i play games its such a pleasur
but some of the games are just not optimazed for the 800 chip yet so it can get litle bit lagy but its not the phones fault
get this phone people

Reading this on my lg g4
amongst my collection of devices, I do happen to have a Verizon LG G2, and it would be good, but there is a pretty big issue, and apparently it's somewhat common, dead spots on the touch screen, most of the right side of the screen does not respond to touch, and I'm not just lying because I want LG to look bad, I love LG phones, and I actually use an LG v10 as one of my two main phones, the other being a samsung galaxy s7

But I was big fan of lg g2.
LG g2 is a Masterpiece.... Missing those golden days of smart phones.

I just bought this phone, but the T Mobile version last week & I love it! It's 10 times better than my old phone which was the older LG G2X. Better graphics, much larger screen & much better reception. There were some apps that I wanted for a long time that didn't work on my old phone, but work on this one. I'll enjoy this phone for a long time!
I have the Verizon version of this phone and love it. The screen is perfectly sized. It is in no way too big to handle. Thanks DetroitBORG!
Finally! Someone who uses a phone very fast. How i do. Now i can see if it's fast or not. And i have to say i'm impressed how fast it is. It has fast animations that's what i loved about this phone. Maybe ill switch from my iphone 5 to lg g2 . Thanks for the amazing review!
as a GS4 owner what I find most appealing on this phone is the responsiveness of the UI, of course the specs helps a lot but that's not always the case for most top shelf phones out there... Great Review man.

Hi I really liked this video, I just wanted to say that you left out an important thing. You can actually print picture straight from your gallery, without connecting an wires. Just go to your gallery, hit options. A small printer icon will appear. Its an awesome tough to this phone. I just bought my g2 this morning.

Rene v Really, pleased with the phone - had it 3 days now.
I am not a heavy user so battery is holding-up really well.
Fully charged last night before going bed and left on vibrate only for calls during the night - still reading 96% of battery-life left eight hours later.

I love my G2...still figuring it out all of the cool features as I go but I love pictures and it takes great ones. I had my LG Optimus for 3yrs and couldn't wait to get an upgrade lol! Only thing I wished is that the speakers were louder when playing my music but I can buy speakers...easy solution
Lg has taken customisation to a whole new level lol... Everything is changeable ..... So many features lol ... I was playing with this phone it's really smooth and I mean really smooth
Must admit i'm very impressed so far by the G2, right now i have the GS4 & no major complaints but if i were due for an upgrade i'd definitely be considering this one

MICHAEL :@22:55 yes, on dual camera you can resize the picture in picture by holding your left finger to one of the corners, then it turns blue, you can resize the other frame. :) I bought my G2 yesterday and man, this is different UI from Samsung.

Damn I also have a 4s and planning to switch back to android particularly to the G2. I admit iPhones are fast and smooth but android has a lot of better features and not boring.
By the way, does the G2 have a setting to change the keyboard color as well as the background color of say, settings? Because the white hurts my eyes. Thanks
I checked the settings looks like it stays the same not bright white but grey color :-)
But u can get a app for it to change the keyboard

Man, that sound quality in the recording sucked. I hope you can change it in the settings. It sounded like it was using some kind of software-assist to only pick up the louder sounds, which made it come out crappy.
I always go to the settings first, it is my favorite thing about my new device when I first get it.

Watching it on my HTC one.. Got it yesterday above LG g2.. LG doesn't gimme that solid n sturdy feel.. Still a few steps to take.. HTC one m in love with u.. the only thing LG has that I miss on my phone is the battery.. 3100mah would b gr8 on HTC..

Nice review! The back buttons are small on the VZW variant but I'm slowly becoming accustomed to them after a couple of weeks with the device. The display is outstanding for media consumption and the camera takes very nice pictures. Battery life has been stellar. I have 5 email accounts and all the typical use and and after 18 hours it's just under 50% when I put it on to charge. Very pleased.

It would be kind of cool if it could tell you that your fridge is open, or if you have your oven on and forgot about it, and you can turn it on/off or change the temp from the phone. Just little things like that.

Why doesn't my phone have the path input option like yours at 18:02?
If LG released this exact phone with updated software and a better camera/speaker it could outsell their G6. People like the looks of 18:9 aspect ratios on a phone, but not the experience. This form factor is as close as it gets to perfect. Bezel less phones look cool but when you have nothing to grab onto when handling it buttons randomly get pressed, the G2 just nailed everything in the hardware department besides speaker (camera was good for the time, but not now).
The battery on this thing is outstanding

The task manager when you press the home button and hold it EVERYthing that you got running is there! so if you freak out and find yourself sitting,,staring..👹Wondering❓ what the hell..lol. and if all 3apps got wipedaside due to your 'trigger fingers" no need to stress. Did you Walk away and forget what u were doing.❓❔⁉.or an irratating human is being nasty in text mode or pounding your caLL mode just Select ""Quit mode""and press and hold HOME ALL
your previous apps running will be there listed nicely..all 20+ of them EVEN LOL..it is like that very nice button the HTC 4G EVO LTE.(one of two nice Features) recent app button
Okay I think I will be going for the g2 just cause the screen size is really awesome and looks nice. I also like all the features it has.
I use the korean version of the G2 but I really like the design of the Verizon one.

dam this phone really had me going till I read the speaker volume sucked idk I think we are still about 20yrs away from the perfect smartphone lol
I personally only use the speakers for a ringtone. My MDR 1RBT headphones are used for audio.
ThePain72 dude if a star wars phone is a phone with great battery life removable battery support SD external storage has a great display with great specs to boot has great loud speakers doesn't lagg doesn't break easily oh an a great camera then yea a star wars phone sounds good to me it's about dam time they started hitting the shelves

Great video!! I could tell you were a bit sped up, I think it is because your videos are usually really long. But instead of speeding up, just organize how you present it so you don't keep talking for so long and don't show every little detail of the phone ( it gets boring)
I hope the knock- knock feature becomes a standard to all devices

Glad I found out about this phone before buying the GS4, bigger screen, and less features that I'm m not gonna use make for a solid device imo

a lot of you ask what should you buy.... well, if youre looking to buy htc, buy it, but i rlly recommend GS4, because its still the best on the market, i used all three, GS4 has the smoothest performancd, then there htc one, but lg can be really laggy, and not that smooth performance, but dont get me wrong, its a good phone, but not better than GS4 and htc one
Great review. I've had my G2 and you showed me a couple of new things. Oh, and thanks for calling out LG on the speaker quality. I wasn't expecting BoomSound like on the HTC one, but they should of done a better job on the quality of the sound for a flagship phone.

Does it has deep black colors? How it's display compares to Samsung amoled screens? Has it have saturation adjust settings? It on screen soft keys can auto hide on videos and games? Help please~~!!
Lg G2's screen has good contrast ratio (1/1300*) but never as good as the Amoled ones.. like Samsung's. But for the screen's other specs (brightness, color accuracy,..), they're overall better than Samsung's Amoled panel. Up to you to choose what you prefer.. ; )
And for the on-screen Menu buttons, they're nowadays hiding on any smartphone from app to app.. it mostly depends on the application, not the smartphone's software.
Hopefully getting this phone next week. Went and saw it in person at Verizon and I'm sold. I can just get a glass screen protector for that annoying logo.

I kind of like the button layout, but it'd better if they moved the camera up a bit or the buttons down a bit.

Those choir ringtones ithink would make me kind of want to really smash the phone i believe.. Think I'd need to check on different ones. I have this phone right now awaiting me at post office out of town and so wanting, need to find patience till Thursday. I got 32 gb white one on Verizon. Excited to out my first lg.

There is some changes from Verizon and international version, and the international version it is possible to resize the dual camera! :)

I think you should have mentioned that Verizon probably changed the buttons on the back because they decided to include wireless charging and they wanted the phone to lay flat on the charger. Can you comment on this?
