  • In this webinar three incredible speakers will inspire you with the story of their quality improvement journey in Delhi, India.
Abhishek Bhartia ( / abhishek4q ) is the director of Sitaram Bhartia Institute of Science and Research, a 70 bed nonprofit hospital and medical research center in Delhi. Abhishek is the son of the businessman who funded this nonprofit organization. He wanted to become a doctor but instead became a manager. After spending 5+ years struggling to transform the organization, Abhishek realized that he needed to get a business education and attended MIT’s Sloan School of Management from 2008-2010.
Saru Bhartia ( / saru4q ) began her career as a dietician but reincarnated herself as a quality improvement professional. She has completed the Managing Hospital Operations and Improvement Advisor programs of the IHI and several courses at Virginia Mason Institute including Advanced Lean Training. She built the quality department which now has six officers and plays a critical role in supporting improvement across the organization
Rinku Sen Gupta Dhar is a consultant obstetrician and gynecologist who joined Sitaram Bhartia soon after completing her training in Delhi. She has taken the lead in lowering cesarean section rates in the unit, is passionate about nurse training, and is beginning to embrace twitter and blogging to share reflections on her practice.
