things you don't know about this video: Today Jas, my mum, Ed and I pack all day long. I feel so incredibly lucky to have them in my life, helping me! I kept offering them coffee, tea and cookies every half hour hahaha We still have to pack lots of orders tomorrow and friday, but we're definitely going out tonight and get some burgers to celebrate! Thank you so much guys for all your support on the shop, there's no words to express how much this means to me.

When your mom was looking through the Polaroids and speaking in Spanish, it made me really emotional (my mom is Portuguese and hasn't been to her home country in over ten years. Seeing you spend time with your mom and giving her that gift of experiencing Paris and UK made me want to bring my mom to visit her homeland even more)

Happy belated birthday Fran! I turned 30 this January and it feels actually good to be in your 30s than I expected. I feel more comfortable with myself and I have a better view of what i want from my life. I'm glad that you and your mom spent time together in Paris. I would love to do the same with my mom one day. I'm obsessed with you and Ed's videos so I've been watching all of your old videos. Also I started drawing. I never had it in my mind that I would be drawing but i just started it after i started watching your videos. You're so inspiring!

One of the perks of being in your 30s is the evolution of your relationship with your parents. It looks like you and your Mom are close and it's nice to see you two hang out more as friends than Mom and Daughter. That's my relationship with my folks.

You're so sweet! That trip to Paris with your Mom sounds so lovely and magical. My dream is to go to Greece with my Mother and sister. In her younger years my Mom always travelled to Greece and always talks about the amazing good times she had with her girlfriends, so it would be so fun to go with her one day. I also only get to see my Mom at the most once a year. I'm very thankful for Skype, we talk and "see" each other nearly everyday. Oh, my! What a lovely trip to go on with your mom! I hope you have a great time together in Hastings too. I lived far away from my parents (not Chile-UK far, but see-you-twice-a-year-far)for about ten years and the visits from my mom were precious moments. I went to Santiago recently and bought the book! Loved it! :)

I cried so much when you talked about the trip to Paris with your Mum, especially when you said it is hard to be a 'good daughter' when you live apart from your Mum. I live in Japan, and my Mum is back in the UK. She just came for her first visit a couple of weeks ago and she went home a few days ago and it is sooooo hard! I guess when you move abroad you really have to deal with the guilt of leaving everyone behind. Anyway, it was really nice to see her smiles on your Paris trip, and I hope I made my Mum smile enough when she was here to compensate for all the times I'm not able to see her. Fran, I've watched every single vlog of yours but never left a message. But THIS made me cry, a lot! I've had years living far away from my family when I've studied abroad in France, and now it's another hard time for me to live abroad again in the US. I found my mom in your mom, and I found myself in you (actually I'm at your age, having 1 hubby and 2 cats too haha) :) Your story melts my heart and yes, I miss my mom so so bad!!!!
