When I was a kid I used to make fun of my dad relentlessly for listening to Frank, like I was downright mean. Well the joke turned out to be, as they say, entirely on me. Because now I love it! I had a lovely ride to work one dark, rainy Monday morning through a city as it was beginning to wake up. That was back when I still got high, and I put on Frank just for shits.Cant even describe it.. Like I felt tapped in to the beat of the city and felt a sense of being right where I belonged. This type of music has been in my repertoire ever since. I feel so lucky I got to share that revelation with my Dad, who just gave me one of his "I told you so" smiles.
