Strange as here in australia we have the carnival same car . but we use a 5w 40 or 10w 40 or a 15w 40 and yet you use a 5w 30. that thiner oil will only help if you live in a colder country. First tip never put your new oil filter back in before you change the old oil . empty oil first then change filter make sure your engine is warm to help the oil flow easier. last tip give your engine a good wash no dust or dirt this will help you see if there is any problems with your engine. can always tell a person by the way they treat their car. great video but there are things i would not do which you have done.
Im sorry but I think you overthink on this one .... change oil at 20°C or 80° won't do that mutch difference , just let the time to the oil to drain out it will be fine brother ! And what is the benefit about dropping the oil before change the filter 🤔 ... if you were living in Québec/canada you quickly realise how much salty and dirty the road are during winter any engine will not stay clean even if you clean it every week ... I clean it every summer when I got the time , familly first .... so judging people with the engine state may not be an great idea brother that tell me a lot about you
Have you noticed if you burn oil? We have 157, 000 miles and i notice i usually have to add a quart once or twice before oil change. I been substituting a quart for a quart of lucan oil stabilizer. It seems to be helping.
Interesting I haven't notice oil consumption for the moment but I got only 68k miles , maybe you can check for the pcv valve sometime they can't cause oil consumption... or it can just be "normal wear ... ring of the piston aren't tight like new and they let pass oil to the combustion chamber... maybe you can try ceratec from liqui molly in the oil
Thank you so much. Just changed my own oil because of your video!!
