Pilots Meeting Of Finest Warbirds Once again some warbird enthuasists came together to have a great day at the airfield of MFC Bad Wörishofen in Southern Germany
I'm still totally stunned by the opening shots of that 190D... The level of detail was so accurate and realistic. And that was before the pilot's head moved, which was so completely unexpected, it floored me. What a beautiful venue to fly from, and I've never seen better videography of an event like this. Everyone who took part deserves a special commendation. The improvement in realism, over the past five years, not just in static detailing, but more importantly in terms of scale flying speeds, scale in-flight behaviour and in particular, engine sounds (the Moki-powered radials sound so close to the real thing), has been astonishing. This video showcases R/C Scale at its very best..
Suddenly I want to do two things, watch Transformers, and build my P-40E that I've been sitting on the plans, and research for a few years. Thank you for the great video, and to the pilots for displaying their skill, and attention to detail.

Quite a few planes I have never seen before! The Pfeil looks and flies great. Crazy how those screws were sheared off on the FW ! He made a great emergency landing.
TAOFLEDERMAUS _Small event ... huge fun._ The two _Pfeil_ are prototypes and for both it was the maiden flight. 👍 The issue with the prop bolts shared off was not the first time, I heard. Arthur was lucky because the plane was fast enough to reach the runway. Absolutely beautiful video of all those awesome large scale Warbirds Horst! Man all of those sweet Fw-190s stole the show (in my opinion) but all the planes flown and landed so nicely! Unfortunate about the spinner and prop damage and forced landing but excellent emergency landing and save! Also "props" to the F4U Corsair slow and low passes, stunning! Something special about those airframes. Go to an RC field and you'll see lots of planes but the warbirds always have a crowd around them. If a full scale warbird lands at a local airfield, they draw a crowd almost immediately. Even people who aren't aviation enthusiasts seem drawn to them.

i love the engine sound on the fw190a it has a similar pulsating sound and has a pretty meaty growl to it! definitely my favourite one :)

That spit looks interesting. I havent done my homework but it looks like an LF 9 in early camo but it's Polish? Anyone fill me in?
Only difference is that rc planes are a lot less heavier so they get of the ground faster
