Over the next couple of months it looks like UA-cam's response to COPPA will be rolled out, and as such most of my channel is set to become 'Made for Kids' content. I disagree with UA-cam's stance on this wholeheartedly. A lot of channels look set to suffer.
I don't know exactly what will happen, whether these videos will be shunted to the 'Made for Kids' app, but it looks like they will at the least lose the comment sections.
This is a terrible shame as I have loved reading all your comments and feedback over the years, thanks for everything you guys, and thank you for your support over this last decade. I hope that these animations, wherever they end up, will continue to remind you of a simpler, freer, more wholesome, and less regulated time.

First and foremost, I would like yo thank all of you for immortalising this video as one of UA-cam's 'relics'.
It's been a real privilege reading and engaging with the feedback and response over the years.
My only regret is that I didn't make more animations like it whilst I had the chance. I don't have so much time these days.
The years really do rocket by.

...Looks like MK1, MK2 and MK3 were spared... only MK4 was pushed to ForKids... Hmm... could be to do with the explosions/ gunfire...? Something to consider for MK5...

Recently went to my niece’s party and saw Mario kart x hotwheels cars and I watched some videos on them and remembered this video from my childhood, I was so young! UA-cam was at its prime (in my opinion), and I’m so good this video still is here today. It carries the HEART of what UA-cam is supposed to be. Much love and amazing work in this video even after all these years 💙

Such an adorable video. It's also kind of sad and happy at the same time. I miss my childhood, I can happily recall the times when I first got my Nintendo 64 and my mom would be racing me on Mario Kart. She would always choose Toad. Such a simple game but we appreciated them back then because they were creative and innovative.
