Before I shit on the one thing that renders this nearly unlistenable...this is a really good cover of an already legendary song. In any capable hands this song is gonna be amazing. And guess what...it is! Clem Burke's drums are no easy feat to play and you sir are pretty stellar. The bassist is also quite solid and plays his part with taste and restraint (as one should). The vocals are also pretty damn fantastic as has been praised in earlier comments. Now to the guitar...so you can obviously play and have a fairly keen sense of melody when doing so. That's good! You are also like twice as loud as everyone else (annoying but not unusual at all for a guitarist) and your tone has essentially zero warmth or thickness to it. That's bad! I only give you this advice because being a musician and freelance producer I realize how important tone is to an overall guitar sound. I was in a touring band in the mid '90s and we were signed to an independent Punk label out of Chicago. We recorded two 7" EPs for the label and my biggest regret for those releases was not insisting on dialing in the guitar sound better than we did. It's an annoying "click clackety clang" sound. Well you have the "clang" part going as well. Lol. Happy New Year to all of you and I hope 2023 brings a lot of success to you but please let me implore you to develop your guitar tone and make sure to get a more balanced mix next time.
