Martha Karua believes the GenZ got it right on calling for demands which the ruling elite have failed to deliver. The ruling class has been splashing money on unnecessary travels and lifestyles while the citizens struggle to get basic needs and public services across the health, education and governance and other sectors. He spends KES18b and the ministries of education and health spend close to that. With half this money, we can educate more people or save more lives in our hospitals. Either these educated people or lives saved can improve our society not just today but even in the future.
