Personally for me, negative comments are the worst. Especially in my case i take them to heart and it eats up my self esteem. 💯 so with what Steph is saying where she ignores and deletes the negative comments, i think i should do the same.... its completely unhealthy to have all the negative energy around me. I used to be like that as well...Every comment thrown at me I take it to heart until I dealt with my "issues" , childhood trauma. So maybe look at yourself and ask yourself what it is that happened to you that you never dealt with. That could be the case, I dont know.
I also cannot handle negative comments. This is why I’m not even on social media because wow it can be rough out there. People will attack your personality yohhhh sana 😅

Negative words used to bother me a lot, but I have come to realize that there opinions really don't matter to me , what is important to me is what God thinks of me or unless it's coming from people I care about like parents or hubby but for the rest of them!! since they have nothing better to do with there time they can continue planning on how I should live my life

I just live for this channel. Pretty much been here since day one and I've watched every video. This is the first video ever on UA-cam as a whole that I actually take the time to comment, I just get awkward commenting on here lol, but best believe I do like, been subscriber since day one and my notification bell is on... I just love your content, guys. Its different and so authentic. Usually couples on UA-cam are so predictable and pretty much recycle each others content(Not hating on anyone)... I get that, that's probably amazing to some of us and that's okay... But I gotta acknowledge the new feel you guys bring to the whole "UA-cam couple channel" environment(I couldn't find any other word apart of environment lol... Movement maybe??)... I think I'm so good on ignoring the bad comments,I remember when I was at secondary school people used to say a lot of bad things about me but I never confronted anyone people didn't understand me how I did it coz didn't say anything,even at work place some people may comment negatively but I never comment coz I don't want to give people that power,I ignore them and life goes on,I just don't care I guess I'm living my life,coz most of the negative comments comes from the insecurities and it has to cure so I don't care.

Context is very important. I have learnt this with Journalist now...They will write negative stories about people without even getting the context of the full story and make it a "headline" which is what people tend to do really...they take the negative and run with it ... So much negativity 😩😩

Hi guys. I was rather perturbed by this topic when I watched this video last night. Two things I wanted to say to say to you; In my personal experience I have always said, when a person says something negative to me, it has nothing to do with me, but things that are not going right in their lives. On a Christian perspective I want to encourage you with Jesus words when He said: "Do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul..." (Matt. 10:28) You are good, period and that may rattle some people's demons

Personally for me I use to take negative comments personally but iv outgrown that and just say whatever and move on. I still have a good night's sleep irrespective of wat someone said negatively about me.

I think that some people are just so bitter and insecure with themselves, so they project that onto others and it’s so cringe🥴 . What Steph said about people picking on kids is actually the reason I was so scared to post my son for like over a year since he was born🙆🏻♀️I literally just started getting comfortable with the idea a few months ago.

I've have had my cousins call me "gogo" just because I'm 5 years older than them.
I mean I played with them ,but when we arrive in places where they have to introduce me they'll be like this is "gogo"and I don't like it.i prefer my name after all.In most cases I feel like they introduce my age instead of introducing me as a person. We hardly go out and my age is not mentioned, even when we are with an uber driver my age is on their lips.Am I too insensitive because I sometimes don't see the reason for them to say my age always. And I'm always this quiet person, I don't drink alcohol when we go out.Im just the boring type as they say.I don't even dance although I just engage in topics that we usually have.Am I insensitive ?
Remove yourself from that situation or share with them how it makes you feel. Life is short, you can’t always be tolerant of what hurts you. Ignore or remove yourself.

Some of my whatsapp contacts aren't saved so that I never come across their statuses. They've hinted that they think I have GB whatsapp 🤣 kanti I don't want to see them talking down at people with different beliefs. I don't want to witness their passive aggression because I'm just like them and I might post a passive aggressive response. If you choose to talk about/at me when you have my number, you don't get deliver those messages.

Unfortunately I don't really know how to deal with negative comments/people, I just take their abuse& it usually weighs down on me.
I can tolerate negative comments directed at me but directing them to innocent kids is just so wrong & when their parents/guardians defend them negative people would say ,"why put them on social media?"
Like being put on social media calls for bullying &shaming. Some even go as far as calling parents names or bitter 🤦♀️
