Leonard was absolutely awful. He barely noticed that Penny was drowning in depression and alcoholism. All he cared about was getting laid and other people *knowing* that he was getting laid by a woman as beautiful as Penny. He was possessive, insecure, jealous and clingy. He ground her down so she didn't have enough self-confidence to ever leave him. I would put him in the top 10 of a Terrible TV Boyfriends list.

Thank you also he waited around and beat her down till she finally dated him while he talked down on her and her wanting to be an actress. I remember how many times he said she wasn't smart or couldn't understand the best relationship from the house was penny and Sheldon they grew on me and watching him defend her to Leonard showed how much he cared. Also Cory acts just like him too trash men. The way he wanted to get laid and didn't care about topanga feelings was wild and her not going to her dream college to be with him was sad.
literally almost every guy in that show is a shitty dude besides Raj, Sheldon doesn't understand Romance, Leonard has mother issues, and frankly Walowiz is just creepy. Not sure how any of those guys ended up with them.
Stiles Stilinski. Even when she barely knew his name, Stiles was there for Lydia. And the whole time they were becoming friends, he supported her and listened to her. And when he was with Malia, he was patient and loving and was there for her.

Matt Casey from Chicago Fire. First he bent over backwards to make Dawson happy (who in return treated him like crap IMO) and when he moved on to Brett he was amazingly supportive of her.

Let’s not forget that Caleb has always stuck up for her, and didn’t even look at other women while dating her. He didn’t fall for her step sister’s seduction, even subtly insulting her. Also let’s not forget how he believed Hanna’s innocence when a majority of people thought she spread that photo of her step sister around. That’s literal loyalty.

On top of that, he was a great brother to Lucas once they got to know each other and he helped and forgave his parents for all the crap they put him through: He challenged and supported Deb to get clean from her drug addiction. And he let Dan rest easy knowing he had his son's forgiveness and love before he died. Nathan was not only in the 1% of top tier boyfriends, he is a gold standard for what a man should be.

LOVED Enzo with Bonnie during his last seasons, but Stefan was a longer standing character and to top it off, he was more consistent in his role as a love interest throughout all of his relationships. We only got to see Enzo shining as a love interest with Bonnie and in the one flashback episode with that nurse.

I knew this list wasn't valid when you brought up penny and Leonard and Cory and topanga two characters that forced their self into their partners life spoken down about them and stalked them/ wouldn't leave them alone till they got back together. You could of said Shawn. and Angela now that was a great relationship that allowed love to come to them and grow together without forcing himself on her at all times.
Nathan Scott is the type of guy I want to end up with. Its not that he does not have faults, but someone who will never give up on you no matter what happens.
I hate when people bring up Nathan's faults and mistakes and try to act like he completely sucks because of them. He wasn't perfect. In real life, no one is. But a moment that has stood out to me is in the beginning of season 5, after presumably losing his basketball career, Haley has had enough of his terrible attitude and gives him an ultimatum: "change or Jamie and I are out!" LITERALLY the next day, he cooked dinner, showed he was trying to get out of the wheelchair, his mindset did a 180. And mind you, his injury had only happened 4 months prior! When it comes down to it, Haley and their family were always the most important things to Nathan.
When I think of best boyfriends, Chandler, Ben, Jake and Patrick come to my mind instantly because I rewatch sitcoms and then Nathan Scott comes first from Teen dramas, and then some other names, so how is Patrick so low in this list is beyond my comprehension!

Niles was in a hideously toxic relationship - bc of Maris, not himself - but even when he met what appeared to be the love of his life, he tried to make his marriage work, bc he felt that having said the vows, he should try his best to do so. What he DIDNT recognize u til it was literally thrown in his face - first by Maris & then by his brother - was that he was the only one making the effort thruout his marriage & that Maris had treated him like dirt from the v beginning. If he had more self esteem, he might have recognized that sooner, but Maris took any left over and crushed it beneath her teeny tiny feet. Finally leaving a relationship that is completely wrong for you & ultimately getting together w the woman you have loved since you first set eyes upon her is actually romantic when you recognize how awful his marriage actually was & how much he deserved to be happy. Niles tried to make his wife happy - it was a lost cause. He eventually turned that charm onto Daphne and she realized how much she adored him. Not creepy but sweet as hell!!

As he tells her the night before her marriage, if he had had the least thought, the merest wisp of an idea that she shared his feelings, he would never, ever ever have married Mel. Seriously, no one from the Chicago series are even mentioned? 😣 There are so many good men in those series who makes for amazing partners, in my opinion. There’s Casey, Severide, Ruzek, Crockett. Just to name a few.

Oh my gosh! Mason Greyback! I’m watching Wizards of Waverly Place for like the…third or fourth time. I’m only on like season two so I haven’t gotten to Mason but Mason and Alex’s relationship might be my favorite part of the show. Mason is so adorable and so sweet. So incredibly different from Dean in many ways (which as someone who doesn’t like Dean I found very refreshing)
#3 made me actively laugh out loud. The perfect boyfriend, but not for her. 😂 That being said, you did my boy Patrick dirty. He and Rory are the only ones on this list I get chocked up just thinking about. My man deserves way better than 17!
Sheldon Cooper from The Big Bang Theory should be #1. He's the reason Amy got a tiara, the right to be Bernadette's maid of honor, and a Nobel Prize. He's also the reason she's not alone forever. Harvey Kinkle from Sabrina the Teenage Witch also deserves a spot.
Barry Allen was great, but I really liked Iris's first bf Eddie. The way his character went was as stupid as it was pointless (since Eobard Thawne did not cease to exsist). I wasn't too sold on Iris either because she wasn't very likeable at first. But, Barry and Iris did really find their chemistry and work well eventually. Also, her dad was awesome.
Patrick Brewer being so low is a crime but the even bigger crime….WHERE IS NICK NELSON FROM HEARTSTOPPER????? He’s THE boyfriend to end all boyfriends. Charlie’s a great boyfriend too but Nick should win every award for ticking every box.
What about Lewis McCartney (H2O: Just Add Water) and Dr. Shaun Murphy (The Good Doctor) ? Both of them always treated the girlfriends they were with (Lewis' were Cleo and Charlotte and Shaun's were Carly and Lea) with all the love they could give. Lewis was also the mermaid girls' best friend which overcame his subtly abusive relationship with Charlotte, while Shaun's a freaking doctor and has ASD which he has made steps to overcome mostly for his relationships.
Barry and Jake deserve the top 2 slots. I'd kick several of these fellas off the list and swap them out for Cisco Ramon and Donald Hollinger, also. Niles can stay, but mostly for Daphne.
I have a few things to add 1. Jordan Baker from All American should have been on this list. He literally helped his then girlfriend Simone while she was pregnant with another guy’s baby. He also was there for now wife Layla when non one else was there for her. 2. Nathan should have been in the top 5 boyfriends. He was always there for Haley when she needed him the most. 3. You should have added Park from The Good Doctor. He was always there for Morgan when she needed someone to vent to. He also was there when she needed help with Eden.

At first I was like “who could POSSIBLY be better than Ben Wyatt???!?!” But then they said Marshall as #1 and I wholeheartedly agree. #1 and #2 are the best hands down. The rest of the list (Leonard?? Finn??) is questionable. Nick Nelson should be on this list!

Niles was in a hideously toxic relationship - bc of Maris, not himself - but even when he met what appeared to be the love of his life, he tried to make his marriage work, bc he felt that having said the vows, he should try his best to do so. What he DIDNT recognize u til it was literally thrown in his face - first by Maris & then by his brother - was that he was the only one making the effort thruout his marriage & that Maris had treated him like dirt from the v beginning. If he had more self esteem, he might have recognized that sooner, but Maris took any left over and crushed it beneath her teeny tiny feet. Finally leaving a relationship that is completely wrong for you & ultimately getting together w the woman you have loved since you first set eyes upon her is actually romantic when you recognize how awful his marriage actually was & how much he deserved to be happy. Niles tried to make his wife happy - it was a lost cause. He eventually turned that charm onto Daphne and she realized how much she adored him. Not creepy but sweet as hell!!

Oh my gosh! Mason Greyback! I’m watching Wizards of Waverly Place for like the…third or fourth time. I’m only on like season two so I haven’t gotten to Mason but Mason and Alex’s relationship might be my favorite part of the show. Mason is so adorable and so sweet. So incredibly different from Dean in many ways (which as someone who doesn’t like Dean I found very refreshing)

Barry Allen was great, but I really liked Iris's first bf Eddie. The way his character went was as stupid as it was pointless (since Eobard Thawne did not cease to exsist). I wasn't too sold on Iris either because she wasn't very likeable at first. But, Barry and Iris did really find their chemistry and work well eventually. Also, her dad was awesome.

Patrick Brewer being so low is a crime but the even bigger crime….WHERE IS NICK NELSON FROM HEARTSTOPPER????? He’s THE boyfriend to end all boyfriends. Charlie’s a great boyfriend too but Nick should win every award for ticking every box.
What about Lewis McCartney (H2O: Just Add Water) and Dr. Shaun Murphy (The Good Doctor) ? Both of them always treated the girlfriends they were with (Lewis' were Cleo and Charlotte and Shaun's were Carly and Lea) with all the love they could give. Lewis was also the mermaid girls' best friend which overcame his subtly abusive relationship with Charlotte, while Shaun's a freaking doctor and has ASD which he has made steps to overcome mostly for his relationships.
To me Patrick Brewer, Nathan Scott, Jess Mariano and Logan Eccles should be at the top of the list
Barry and Jake deserve the top 2 slots. I'd kick several of these fellas off the list and swap them out for Cisco Ramon and Donald Hollinger, also. Niles can stay, but mostly for Daphne.
I have a few things to add
1. Jordan Baker from All American should have been on this list. He literally helped his then girlfriend Simone while she was pregnant with another guy’s baby. He also was there for now wife Layla when non one else was there for her.
2. Nathan should have been in the top 5 boyfriends. He was always there for Haley when she needed him the most.
3. You should have added Park from The Good Doctor. He was always there for Morgan when she needed someone to vent to. He also was there when she needed help with Eden.
