Welcome to Stampin Up!! I was only into cards and 3D projects, but now you've got me watching your channel for scrapbooking layouts!! 😍 On a side note that Amazon sleeve is perfect, there is even a 6x6 as well.
Thank you for the warm welcome! I hope I can nudge you in the direction of scrapbooking, it really is a great way to preserve your photos! I found the 6x6 sleeves on Amazon...and I guess everyone else did too because they are currently unavailable. I'll be grabbing them once they're back!
I’ve been a Stampin’ Up! hobby demonstrator for a long time and I’ve always wanted to feel more comfortable with scrapbooking. I’m excited about having what I consider “experts” joining the Stampin’ Up! family. Welcome and thanks for sharing😊
Welcome to stampin up. Absolutely beautiful layouts. I’m so excited that you guys are on board with Stampin’ Up now because I can see how you use our paper and embellishments and everything and I just don’t have the imagination so I am so looking forward to learning from you. Thank you for sharing your inspiration and knowledge.
Thank you so much for your sweet comment and warm welcome! I'm having a lot of fun experimenting with Stampin' Up products and I'm loving the refresh new products are bringing to my creative style. I hope you find lots of inspiration in my upcoming videos!
What a gorgeous layout Chelsey! I placed my first order from Stampin Up earlier today and after seeing your beautiful beach pages I'm going to have to place another order! Love everything that you did with all the lovely embellishments.
I love this page. I used to scrapbook before I went SU and started making cards. I didn't know how to use SU supplies for pages. Thanks. please keep sharing.
Sometimes there just isn't a perfect spot for your journaling on a layout, so adding your words on a scenery photo is a great way to fit it in. I also like to stamp on my photos or add titles on top of my photos. I hope you grab some of these fun products to play with, they are so good!
Absolutely love this page! Makes me want to create one too...but I don't have any beach photos. Time to see what other embellishments might work for me.
I think you definitely substitute a beach them for an outdoor, gardening, hiking or even family theme. Add florals instead and you'll have a whole new feel to the layout.
Love this! I am so happy to have the talented CMH scrapbookers for layout inspiration. I was a scrapbooker before going to SU and making cards! Welcome to SU!
I had so much fun making it...I probably need to make a second layout with all the same supplies. I'm having a blast playing with all the new, pretty things!
Oh wow! These embellishments ended up so beautiful with your sense of colour etc. I had seen someone else use them but their finished effect didn't do their page justice but what you have finished up with is incredible & life like. It is good to see that both our old stock can be successfully used with the new stock!! That is one of my two favourite paper packs from SU. 🥰
Your pages turned out beautifully. The colors are so lovely. I love that paper pack and have now also added those pretty pearls to my wish list for when i put my first order through. Thanks for sharing😊 Can't wait to see more.
The pearls are a MUST! I love that they are flat so they don't create big bumps on your pages like other pearls can and the iridescent shine is stunning.
Great layout and thank you for showing me your photo process. I really like the idea of a special "to print" folder. I frequently overwhelm myself because I have so very many photos.
It is really challenging to manage digital photos. I try to be good about deleting the bad ones or duplicates, but I don't have a regular habit. The To Print and To Scrap folders have really helped me keep track of photos I want to document. There are some people that have super detailed and organized digital photo storage...I am not one of them! LOL
Loved your layout. The colors were perfect! I noticed that you have on a long sleeved shirt. I'm jealous! I am watching this while wearing shorts & a t shirt. It's 80 degrees here today.
haha yes I've only had a couple days in a short sleeve shirt. I tend to run cold and it's not overly hot here, maybe 10- 15 Celsius. I'm so ready for summer!
This one screamed beach to me too that's why I bought it in my demonstrator order. I still haven't made anything yet with it and needing too since I have a crop on the 18th lol. I'm in a rut.
I hope you start playing with your new products and find some inspiration again. The influx of new and different things has definitely revived my creativity!
I can tell already that I'm going to need Linen thread in BULK! I wish it came in a huge spool like the baker's twine I bought years ago and have never ran out of 🤣
Very beautiful page! The one problem I see I am going to have with SU products for scrapbooking is it's hard to justify the expense of using the stamps and dies as ephemera. Because it's doubtful I will get more than a few scrapbook pages out of them. I do lots of beach photos as well but don't want to use the same stuff. I really loved the CTMH kits that came with ephemera. So I will be looking forward to the SU scrapbook kits. But I am concerned about this as a scrapbooker. I do hope SU does really come through with the scrapbook kit and more ephemera because the stamps and dies are just so expensive to use as ephemera.
I hear you, stamps and dies get expensive really fast especially if you only use them a couple of times. I try to focus on things that I know I'll use a lot like shapes, florals, etc. I also have a pretty good size stamp stash that I can reach into and use retired supplies if I don't have the right thing from SU. SU currently has a few ephemera packs that look like they would be good for scrapbooking. They are on my very long list of things that I want lol and as we continue to see new scrapbooking kits launching we should see stickers to go with them. I would also like some packs of die cut ephemera that coordinate with each collection. They are so fast and easy for scrapbooking!
@@ChelseyVorosmarty It seems SU is going in the direction of having more easy to use products so I do think we will see more ephemera. Those ephemera packs they came out with are pretty new for them. They are definitely trying to cater to beginner crafters. But so useful for anyone. I also wonder about using Paper Pumpkin to do scrapbooking. Most people make PP alternative cards but maybe people will come up with ways to use it for scrapbooking. PP is a great value.
Sadly I don't have a PM400, but some of my friends do. I think the print quality is comparable but I like that the Eco Tank doesn't need cartridges and uses bottles of ink. The ink has lasted so long! I bought this printer last July, I've printed hundreds of photos and tons of digital images to do print then cut on my Cricut and I still haven't had to add ink! The quality is absolutely beautiful. I put off getting a home printer because I didn't think it could compare. I was printing at London Drugs here in Canada and they have very nice quality ($.48 for a 4x6) and I was spending a small fortune on getting photos printed. Plus the hassle of ordering and going to pick up prints was really slowing me down. I would say this was the all-time best purchase for a scrapbooking tool I've made in 20 years! I don't know how I put up with ordering prints for so long when beautiful quality was possible at home! 😂
I used my Cricut and a font I downloaded from somewhere (I think it's called Villie) to cut the offset from CTMH Dreamy Holographic paper and then I cut the actual word from white cardstock and ink blended on it.
It's not the machine it's the Hybrid Embossing Folder from Stampin' Up that allows me to cut and emboss at the same time. I use my regular Big Shot and use the normal sandwich I use for other 3D embossing folder. It works like a charm and doesn't cut the embossing folder which I can't quite figure out how that works! lol www.stampinup.ca/products/seaside-wishes-bundle-english?demoid=2297162
I have all the products I used listed/linked in the description of this video. If you're looking for the wood grain paper you can find it here. www.stampinup.ca/products/country-woods-12-x-12-30-5-x-30-5-cm-designer-series-paper?demoid=2297162

What a gorgeous beach page. Love how all the colors come together . And of course the wood grain paper works perfect. ❤

Those sand dollars are even better in person! I'm loving all the embossing folder options from Stampin' Up!

It opens up a world of possibilities when you add stamps and dies to your scrapbooking supplies!
Love the layout and your tips!

Gorgeous layout Chelsey! Makes me wish I had some beach photos. Linen thread is a staple in my craft room. It just works with everything.
I can tell already that I'm going to need Linen thread in BULK! I wish it came in a huge spool like the baker's twine I bought years ago and have never ran out of 🤣
@@ChelseyVorosmarty Yes! Bigger spools would be awesome! It’s so much easier to work with than a lot of the ribbon and less bulky.
Love it!!
Glad you like it!
I love how you started your video

I used my Cricut and a font I downloaded from somewhere (I think it's called Villie) to cut the offset from CTMH Dreamy Holographic paper and then I cut the actual word from white cardstock and ink blended on it.
