Watching this video in 2023, many points brought up by the speakers are still relevant even though China-India relations have deteriorated because of the border disputes.
    1. China and India do not see each other as threat. Both wants each other to be successful..
    2. China and India should regard each other independent of the relationship with US.
    3. China and India to cooperate and take the lead in climate change.
    4. China and India to support globalization and can jointly take the lead to make WTO work.

China and India need to start cooperating with one another to jointly benefit from the fruits of the future on the Eurasian continent.

as neighbors, I don't believe the Chinese or indians want to have a war between the two countries, We should work together and watch the back of each other to keep the stabilization and push development of the economy in this region

Both India and China are in the Asian arena and should work together for the security of the region.
USA does not belong in this part of the world, so she should mind her own affairs and let the Asians
to handle their own affairs and interests.

There is a lack of acknowledgement of the difference between a bipolar order and a multipolar order. The end of the Habsburg-French bipolar order at Westphalia is similar to the era between the fall of the Soviet Union and today. In that case a period of unipolar geopolitics focused around France ended with the death of the Sun King and the creation of a new multipolar system. It is a natural occurrence, but due to their position in the world the United States can maintain its position as the swing power. France was unable to do this because they where a continental power, and Great Britain would eventually fill that vacuum. With this said Trump has the right idea, it is what Bremmer calls hardball politics. Put aside the ideological zeal of the bipolar world, and begin to ask "what do I get out of this?" Under that idea, what does the United States gain from the continuation of the Bretonwoods System? The system was essentially bribing an alliance into existence in order to check Soviet power. The bribery has continued, but the threat no longer remains.

Kind of like a patient going to a medical specialist for conditions outside of that medical specialist expertise.

I think the relationship between India and the United States is much better is because Indian is not powerful to Challenge the position of the United State, The United States doesn't like to be challenged, No matter the country is Germany, Japan, China or Indian

I predict that India and China will make a military pact in the not-too-distant future. Their armed forces will come under one command! This is very dangerous to the whole world. Their expansionist movement will be stopped however!

Sooner or later in order for India to ramp up speedy growth, the great cultural, economic and humanitarian diversity will be challenged by the need to change their political ideology to socialism or communism? Although this may be absolute to catchup with the great growth of China, this will not be welcomed by the USA unless it’s current capitalist democracy completes its decay and reinvents itself with some form of a socialist democracy, in which case a much rosier future can be welcoming.

I'll have to watch this more than once. But, China and India should recognize that with chump as president, any agreement with him is likely to become a liability. Deal with the senators and congressmen instead. They in turn may persuade chump to accept. Then, chump will claim it was his idea from the start.

    • @leemalsack634
      @leemalsack634 4 роки тому

China is prone to ignore anything in any agreement that doesn't work for them. China is pragmatic in their means, while their end agenda has never changed since the Communist Party took control.

@@leemalsack634 China's conduct around the pandemic is of grave concern. They don't allow foreign teams to investigate the origin, and they censor medical teams within their own country. This concealment feeds conspiracy theory narratives about their level 4 bio lab. Economic sanctions are the most pragmatic means to say they MUST open up

Multi-polar is a better alternative. Yes, there will be conflicts, but it is up to the wisdom of the poles to thrash out. Single polar leads to snobbish obsession, while bipolar would leads to self interest conspiracy. Multi-polar although more conflicts, but mutually cancelled out. We have to trust human being's wise senses after the 2 wws, rather to allow malicious manuevearance of the selfish few.
