I Iive in Rosarito. Some neighbors burn tires every day to make pottery. The government does not seem to give a damn about a lot of things down there. It's a shame
Mexico should legally have to clean up its s*#!+ lol. This is really f’d though. As someone from California and whole family is, who loves the beaches, and surfing and marine life, there should be an international ocean federation that makes countries stop dumping into the oceans and protects them legally who can hold companies or countries or individuals accountable.
You're missing the bigger picture tho These huge cruise ships are dumping waste into Baja by paying off officials This i found out from the locals in ensenda
In the 1950s most cities and towns in America had direct sewage into the rivers. In the 1980s I worked for my city of 30,000 in the DPW and ALL of our sewage went into the tunnels built in the 1800s Huge outfalls of the sewsge flowed into 5 tunnels that flowed into the river In 2005 the EPA forced the city to build sewer pipes to connect to the main sewage treatment in the big city 15 miles away. They built CSOs So when it rains the combined sewage and stormwater pour out of these tunnels but on non rainy days the sewage is diverted down 15 mi to the South to the city of 200,000 that has a wastewater treatment facility but the treated sewage pours into the river and when it rains the overflow of billions of gallons of storm water and sewage flow from every city in my area and the main cities But it wasn't until the mid-2000s that most cities around America were finally forced to stop dumping sewage directly into the rivers Now we point the finger at other countries Just like we have done with so many other things And incredibly the labor laws for not having child labor is being reversed Up until the 1950s we had child labor in the coal mines and the Mills and the factories It is shocking to see they are going to reinstate child labor in heavy manufacturing and slaughterhouses and coal mines and all the places we forbid children to work in the 1950s because it was a public moral crisis And we point the finger at China and countries that use child labor but once we reinstate it here in America we won't be able to point our finger at those countries anymore And with overpopulation now pushing America to over half a billion people our wastewater treatment plants won't be able to keep up with it and we will be dumping raw sewage back in the waterways once again
That was a bullpoop excuse that dude made, then get your heads together and cooperate and get organized, what do they get paid to do sit in their office all day and do nothing but make excuses?

What about the cruise ships dumping out there in Baja?
It happens in many areas of Mexico. No sewage treatment plants hence the problem continues.
That was a perfect summation of the issue

Okay but fr who be hooking up in the sewer, ya'll are nasty

4:05 same problem in the United States we need to organize
Hello. I was exposed and now I’m ill from this problem where can I file a claim?
Ambos tienen que arreglar el problema
In the 1950s most cities and towns in America had direct sewage into the rivers.
In the 1980s I worked for my city of 30,000 in the DPW and ALL of our sewage went into the tunnels built in the 1800s
Huge outfalls of the sewsge flowed into 5 tunnels that flowed into the river

They built CSOs
So when it rains the combined sewage and stormwater pour out of these tunnels but on non rainy days the sewage is diverted down 15 mi to the South to the city of 200,000 that has a wastewater treatment facility but the treated sewage pours into the river and when it rains the overflow of billions of gallons of storm water and sewage flow from every city in my area and the main cities
But it wasn't until the mid-2000s that most cities around America were finally forced to stop dumping sewage directly into the rivers
Now we point the finger at other countries
Just like we have done with so many other things
And incredibly the labor laws for not having child labor is being reversed
Up until the 1950s we had child labor in the coal mines and the Mills and the factories
It is shocking to see they are going to reinstate child labor in heavy manufacturing and slaughterhouses and coal mines and all the places we forbid children to work in the 1950s because it was a public moral crisis
And we point the finger at China and countries that use child labor but once we reinstate it here in America we won't be able to point our finger at those countries anymore
And with overpopulation now pushing America to over half a billion people our wastewater treatment plants won't be able to keep up with it and we will be dumping raw sewage back in the waterways once again
Is there any chance that Mexico would do anything? No.
😅
