@LostHeroes24 a lot of bands have material written from a few years even decades back (depending on artist of course) the original KIDS version could very well been recorded and the record label at the time didn't deem it a potential hit or the band just excluded it from earlier albums

Actually thats inaccurate, the original is from the We (Don't) Care EP from 2004. This one is from the Climbing to New Lows demo album, and the Time to Pretend EP version was released in 2005.
