F I N A L L Y either you had the idea that Keith's doing it for Lance or you ACTIALLY watched the show/listened to the lyrics, because variens dad is basically dead, but he'a alive and Varien only wants to be listened to so they can help but no one listened, AND IN DIS IT'S LANCE IN THE CHBER AND KEEF TRYING TO SAVE HIM. AAAAAAH, this is honestly amazing, the plot makes sense, in the others it's just Lotor or Keith and Zarkon but THIS MAKES SENSE SINCE VARIAN DID IT TO TRY GET HIS DAD BACK, AND KEITH IS DOING IT TO TRY AND GET LANCE BACK OR SOMETHING, S T I L L, ghis is by far my favorite, and it needs more loaf 💜💕

Ohh my god, thank you so so much!! I love this comment afdjfkl- I haven't actually watched the full show yet, but I've had a bit of a soft spot for Varian, so I did look into his motives a bit more so I could make this... sort of reflect/mirror how he was feeling!
oh-no-Castiel ! y E S, I'm not sure if you get this alot or not but your animation style actually standa out from the other animators I've seen, the movement, the style and over all the story of the animation, most people that do animatics just think "ill do this.." etc, but you actually thought of a story for this. it is really impressive and you have an amazing animating and drawing talent, also y e s Varian is my bOI, I actually cried during the show and the movies when everyone turned him down/ignored him :')

I love EVERYTHING about this, but why do people want to protect the royal family? It seems like the quintessence is too dangerous and Keith is actually in the right? Also does this mean Keith dies bc if so i am Sad... anyway, fantastic job!!!
Thank you so much!! And good question... people want to protect the family because they're the ones who primarily run quintessence gathering. In this AU, Altea is so technologically advanced that now people need at least a small amount of quintessence to power nearly everything. It's like their electricity; it can be used for appliances, magic, medicinal purposes, etc. Collecting it is dangerous, but it's unfortunately necessary, as there aren't very many substitutes for it. Keith is in a pretty grey area- he's not necessarily right, but he's not wrong either! And no major characters die in this AU, he'll be safe! :) (Sorry this got really long aaa-)

Whelp, Voltron is officially over now. It’s done. This is so angsts now. Season 8 killed me. Almost. I choked because I was crying too hard. So, yea you could say Voltron almost killed me. And this did too. Anything could kill me now.
The final episode made me cry Niagara Falls. I won’t spoil it for people who aren’t that far yet but if you know what I’m talking about, you know the level of sadness and upset especially if you ship Allurance (don’t worry I ship Klance too)

This breaks my heart everytime I watch it. Mostly, because I could feel the heartbreak Keith and everyone around him is going through. It also makes me wonder if they would have reacted similarly in canon. That's what makes this animatic brilliant: the use of colour, expression and emotion that accompanied the song.

This animatic AU is so well done. I've only recently become interested in vld fandom (thanks to some klance fanart) and I'm watching every video I can find on YB.
This animatic though caught my attention so much, it is really well structured and thought out in every detail; you didn't just attach the characters from Tangle Adventure to the characters from Voltron, you created a believable story and after reading the Google doc I wouldn't mind reading a fanfiction of this AU at all. Don't feel pressured of course, I only said that because I really appreciate the work behind it and all the effort you put into it. 🥰🤩
