Top D-backs brass 'disappointed' on no deal on Chase Field renovations

Top Arizona Diamondbacks executives voiced their frustration and disappointment that there still isn't a deal on renovations badly needed at Chase Field.

We are 1 of 13 cities with 4 major sports teams, and we are on the verge of losing the coyotes and now the D-backs. Time for the government to step up. To anyone saying the teams should pick up the bill, the D-backs don't pay for the concerts, or any events in this stadium and without a pro team to fill these places up it will look mighty empty when another city sweeps them up.

Even though I don’t live in Arizona, Sports stadiums should NOT be funded by the public. The owners are billionaires and they have more than enough money to pay for renovations.
