Pretty kit. Another tip when using rayon threads on a counted cross stitch (Only) is run your thread across a damp sponge the threads will lay better. good for cotton floss also. 😀
Looks very time consuming , I like to lift a thread and stitch with no faffing about, but you’ve explained it well, wonder if true silk is the same, I’ve never seen anyone mention that. It looks like using metallics, enough to drive you nuts 😂
Question: I'm just starting a silky floss project. Does using beeswax on the floss dull the shine? If so does the beeswax come off your stamped aida when you wash your finished project? Thank you for the video. I like how you explain stuff. You have a relaxed and relatable manner.
Another really helpful tutorial. Thank you.
Still trying the best way to stitch with silk threads, thanks for the tutorial
Thanks for the tutorial. It was very helpful for me.I just wish that all flower kits would come with silky colored threads.
Thanks for the helpful tutorial
Thank you so much Lora! I have two silky kits ...i was afraid to do them because it was so crazy to stitch with this thread. Now I will try❤😂😂😂

Yes, it does dull it a bit. But, it is supposed to wash out in the end. 🤩
