Time is important agreed..But, there are many people in the country, who want to take their car for a drive as they wish, but fuel cost is the Villain. For them, an EV with some charging time delay, they can go wherever they want at a very low cost.
Because
a person with huge wallet, never buy an EV looking to save fuel cost. He will buy a v6 machine and go around.
EV demands charging time, but EV can offer ease of drive and ease of fuel cost..
Here in Kerala, many Nexon EV owners, who have Royal Enfield Bikes, are now rarely using them. The fact is, before they had cars, but they used them rare, when EV came, Bike got rest and EV is rolling..Bike costs Rs 2/km, EV costs Rs 1/km
True fact ... with a better range coming in many people who have big pockets are also drifting to ev now eventually... and yes bikes are any time more expensive to ride now compared to evs

What is your average speed during trip
You guys are wonderful. Looking at your videos I am tempted to make a trip from mumbai to Goa. Have you done any video on this route so that the trip becomes easy for me.
We have done many trips pune to goa just go thru our videos ... done it with different ev cars so you get a better idea
Ev travel is perfect for the City.
Highway travel is a different story.
Repeated power outages both long power cuts and power off and on situations are common and every time power goes the charging does not resume on its own, so while having lunch one person may need to visit the car 2-3 times to restart charging.
Unreliable net coverage may mean being stranded for long hours(rajasthan switches of mobile net coverage at the time of exams). Recently aargo and statiq introduced RFID tag but I had both not working once in behror and at kosi.
It is ok for two bachelors to go anywhere but while traveling with the family it can seriously endanger peace at home.
Also have you tried ev trips in April and may through MP and rajasthan i don't think ev prime would give more than 150 km range.
Also new expressways kill the range, on cruise control at 70 kmph i struggled to cover 220 km.
But you are great brand ambassadors for e mobility
As we mention in our videos for now family trips can be a hassle as there's lot of uncertainties that you have mentioned ... but as the time is passing by it is becoming better n better

Hey there are many cheaper chargers on the route and also many slow charging that we do is free of cost ... so we keep an actual tab of money spent and come up with these figures just to avoid the confusion of free charging we aggregate the paid charging cost to get a more genuine figure for viewers...

If you are in petrol or diesel car will you taken this much stop for hotel and food
Every 200 kms one break is a normal trend so stops are ok it's the duration which matters as not every stop you will have food n all it could be a quick break too

But we can't go more than 200 km.
Means if our destination is more than 200km we can't use EV.
I want to say that we can use EV for local trip and that's good not for longer.
@@gauravkulkarni6112 depends, if a person want to go more than 200 km most days, Nexon EV is a bad choice..Well if its Nexon Max yes near to 300 km can be managed..If that also exceeds , if he goes almost days more than 300 kms, ie, nearly 6000 km+ in a month, he should take an ic car.

We can run an EV by electricity, we can produce electricity in so many ways. Even if there is no EV, world need Electricity, so if thermal plants are a mess, eventually new technologies will come to produce electricity.. EV will run, but ICEs.. naa
