My pleasure and thank you for watching. The good new is as the days went by, he was starting to put his weight on the injured foot, and he was actually walking on it. Still couldn’t run on it, but was walking on it. Hopefully he’s doing better by now. Hopefully it’s just a loose claw or something minor… 🤞🏼 Will you be doing any desert hikes and getting any footage or pictures of the Saguaro Cactuses? 🌵 Check your channel and didn’t see anything new. Loved those desert videos of yours… ❤️
@@georgesilverhawkstrailcame2297 Thank you a bunch. I have been out but just on the canal and walking through the rich area hills. Always fun. Some have desert landscape so get to see the blooms that way mostly. Have done a couple of day trips to Saguaro Lake (Salt River and Verde River) when all my siblings were in town so have been getting my 'outside' fix and thankful for that. I saw the coon was putting more weight on it later in the vid and then when running held it up completely. At least it's on the mend and showing signs of 'more use'. Always a pleasure, my friend. Thanks for the videos!!
Thank you Joey, I appreciate you watching buddy. I agree, the Spec Ops cameras shoot fantastic video quality, and they have always been my favorite camera video quality-wise. In my opinion… while my favorite is the Spec Ops Advantage, this one, the Spec Ops Edge, the HP4 and HP5 are all almost identical when it comes to performance, with subtle differences. I really like the Dark Ops line of cameras also. While not matching the Spec Ops in video quality or sound, they make up for it with amazing battery life and a more compact size. All my best to you and Kris.
Hello George! It looks like all the little critters on your side of the woods are doing well! I hope the Raccoons little leg heals up soon! You have some very smart and beautiful little neighbors! The robin and woodpecker was so beautiful in the ground cover
Good morning George. Lots of beautiful bird captures. I love the Blue Jays and Woodpeckers. The cherry blossoms are pretty. This camera takes beautiful video. Did you notice that both Raccoons have an injured right rear paw. When the both exit the field of view front right, at 12:39 the male holds his up all the time but the female weight bears some but also lifts the same leg. She may be injured as well. I wonder how they did this? You are seeing a lot of Mr Kitty who has found the food plot as well. The Red Fox’s tail, oh my! It will be beautiful again soon! Hope the Fox Dog is okay. Have a good day, Char😊
Char, great observation buddy, and you are right. I missed that one completely, and it likely would have gone unnoticed if you have not pointed it out. I don't think it's serious... hoping that she is just losing a claw. Sometimes they grow too long and can even become entangled with a claw/claws nest to them. Once the claw falls off, then she'll be walking normally. I hope this is all that's wrong with both of them. Front claws remain trimmed because of digging, but sometimes the back claws don't remain trimmed and become a problem. Thanks buddy... and see, this is why you can be on my team anytime at all. Aho!
Hey Char. Sorry… I wanted to come back to touch base regarding this camera’s video. I still prefer the Spec Ops Advantage. As far as sharpness and over all video quality and sound, they are all amazing and there is VERY little difference in sharpness and overall all video quality. I think the Advantage is unmatched in build quality, and I love its field of elimination. I think all of them give the best video quality when the LED power is set on Economy. You get better contrast and much better detail in the highlights. With that comes better tonal range. Last week I got to compare the Edge, HP4 and HP5 side-by-side, and while there are subtle differences in the daytime video, I think when it comes to nighttime video, they’re all pretty much identical. Except when it comes to battery life… the Advantage is hands down much better. Why that is, I didn’t know. You would think the newer models would have better efficiency, but I can promise you that’s not the case. This reminds me, I have to call Browning today to discuss this very topic. Later, I’ll let you know what I was told.
@@georgesilverhawkstrailcame2297 they need to fix the audio and n the Elite models with a software update. Also why the daytime color saturation is so different with the Recon Elite versus the Spec Ops Elite is a mystery to me. The Spec Ops has warmer tones with the Recon showing exaggerated unnatural blues and greens. Just my thoughts on those and yes the best and most natural video with coloration and audio is certainly the Advantage series. You would think bringing back a “classic” camera would go over well with such overwhelming demand. Should be a no-brained. Ttyl, Char

Thank you! And yes, it’s getting close to that time. I can’t wait to see the Kits soon. You guys usually start seeing them in June, right? It almost always May when the Kits start venturing out with their parents.
Some wonderful footage again George. The injured Racoon looks like he is recovering (fingers crossed). But a bit worrying that you haven’t seen the Dog Fox for a while. Hopefully just hasn’t been caught on camera lately. Love those Blue Jays and the birdsong on this one. Hope you’re doing well my friend 👍👍👍
Hello Dave, and thank you my friend. I have sighted the Dog on another camera. I got just one 20 second video clip of him. He is alive but he is limping very badly. I appears his right rear low leg or paw is injured, but I could not see well enough to see if there is any chance of determining what the injury may be. It seems as if the Vixen is now doing the hunting and he is at home watching the Kits at the den. With as often as I was seeing the Vixen, I knew something wasn’t right. I’m going back out there week and I’m setting up some extra cameras on the trails the Foxes use, and I’m going to attempt to determine if I needed to intervene with my field veterinarians. I sure hope it does come to this. And if he has to fight to protect the Kits, he’s going to be at a serious disadvantage. Also, should he have a run-in with one of the Eastern Coyotes he’s not going to be able to run as well as he normally does. I just can't help getting attached and therefore worrying about them.
@@georgesilverhawkstrailcame2297 me too George. They’re amazing creatures and it’s so difficult not to get very attached to them. Same with the Swans over here for me.
Hate to see any animal injured, hope the little raccoon is OK! George you have the same players we have here, the fox has a skinny tail, strange! Lots of Blue Jays and I can hear a Red Wing Black Bird, nice!
You’re good, you heard the Red-winged Black Bird singing. He wasn’t visible, but his song certainly was heard. Nice work. You have Elk though. None of them here. Perhaps I'll sneak a few over to Jersey… 🤣 Yeah, when they go through the moult they look funny, especially their tails. But soon they’ll have their full summer coats and look much better. But there’s nothing like late fall when they get their winter coats, that’s when they are most beautiful.

Hi Naomi and yes, I felt bad for the raccoon. However, towards the end, he was walking much better all it. He still wasn’t able to run on the paw, but was walking very well on it, which is encouraging. Hopefully he’s well by now.
