Betty was first celebrity I met signing autographs before the film "My Sister Eileen" I was a shy little girl and she was so very kind to me and my grandmother. What a great memory!
She was the first movie actress that I ever met. I ask her how she was able to lift up Sinatra in 'Take Me Out to the Ballgame'. She said, "he weighed practically nothing and I was pretty strong". 🕊️
I first saw her as a toddler on All In The Family and a bit later on Laverne and Shirley. My Ma told me she was an established actress and dancer. Well I still love her on those sit coms. And enjoyed her older movies. Thanks Mom.💗
What a wonderful, warm, and genuine person. I always loved, M/S Garrett, and her lovely husband 'My Sister Eileen' is one of my favourite musicals. Very underrated. Now M/S Garrett, and Mr Parks, are together in heaven, and very much missed. ❤❤❤❤ Xxxx. 28:29
I almost made it through this episode without yelling at Skip E to 'Let your guest speak'. Almost . But the man has great guests on his show so I put up with his A.D.D, What a marvelous woman Betty is.Thank you.
Betty Garrett was MGM personified. I loved her musicals or antthing else that she did. And she was kind to her fans and so was her husband Larry Parks. A star who is not kind to their fans I have no use for.
But this is the role of the city or the state government but The Music Box Fonda Theatre. The theatre should have been and should be supporting new plays and new playwrights. And because money has been spent on this project and Aids etc. theatre is dying if not dead. Shame on you!
Great Interview, Betty Garrett was such a nice lady.

This was lovely to see! Thank you.
This was lovely to see! Skip Lowe is a star in his own way.
What a delight! Thank you for all you share. A true celebration of classic show business.

I can listen to her talk all night
THIS GUY DRIVES ME NUTS....LET THE HER FINISH THEIR THOUGHTS
She definitely does not look her age. She and Sinatra were a good comedy team.
Such a shame what happened to her and her husband Larry Parks during the Cold War.
The Confederate-Nazi attitude alliance that attacked her and others during the Cold War is back on the rampage.
LoL! His tech guy was a mess.
This is more of a "raw" interview than rare. An amount of simple editing would have been helpful here for an otherwise enlightening moment.
The show's were broadcast live from beginning to end, so no editing.
Some of his questions are so dumb and you never
