Hey Will & Dawn, my daughter is 7, she is in Girl Scouts and while we were watching your video she said you could also put out fire by scooping dirt! Dirt can keep it from reigniting and help with the smoke, making it less smokey!
I enjoyed the video Will & Dawn. The food looked really good and the Blue Moose is a place I'd definitely like to check out on my next visit to the beautiful Smoky mountains!! OH MY GOSH, ya'll were definitely in the right place at the right time, to be able to put that smoky fire out because there's a good chance it could have ignited even more, with how that smoke was flowing. It looked a bit odd, with some of the things ya'll found in the pit and in the area on the ground, and sure hope ya'll reported that to a ranger or the police. It just brought back a horrible memory to me from when we were up there at the end of 2016 when the fires started and we were there on vacation. It was terrible and had me in tears, knowing that so much of the area was in flames when we were driving back home!! Thank ya'll so much for putting that fire out. I love those mountains and wildlife so much, just like ya'll do as well as many other people. The trail itself looks really nice and is one I may have to check out when I get back and hopefully will run into a cute little snail and some butterflies. Ya'll take care and God bless always, Sue.

This is my families favorite restaurant to eat at in Pigeon Forge because it's locally owned. My wife and kids love their wings. One time we drove 115 miles because my wife was wanting Blue Moose Chicken Wings. I've tried just about everything on their menu and I've always been satisfied with my choice.
I'm glad you and Dawn came along when you did because I was here during the first occurrence of a fire and I still remember the smell of the smoke because it was so bad that it came into my apartment. You did a great thing Will and Dawn 🙂💖

The fact that they had t.v.s at some of the booths was such a cool thing for me. We went there with my 3 year old and they put it on a kids channel for him. I don't know if they always do that, but it made a world of difference in our dining experience there. Plus, the drinks are out of this world!!!
Hard to believe their isn’t a ranger walking trails for violations and safety. How do you camp on a trail without being seen/reported. Maybe rangers should be out a little more.
That gets me so upset, the ignorance of people could have started another fire killing wildlife and the beautiful mountains…good thing y’all were there at the right time and the right place 💕😊…what also bugs me is that I’m sure some people passed right by that and did nothing..Will and Dawn y’all are amazing beautiful people 💕💕

I walked this trail when I was recovering from a stroke, it's very nice and easy. I wish there were more like this or at least more with benches along the way.
Found your channel and really enjoy it..im in columbia tn..a transplant from calif..san francisco...these places you both go too are amazing..i have not been to any of these wonderous places..you both make me itch for the adventure and experience...i got to get to these amazing places you both go too..keep doing what you do im binging on all your places youve gone too...its really amazing as you both are👍

Was up there and ate at the Blue Moose just last week. And I must say, the Blue Moose is awesome. Our waiter was helpful and friendly. And the food was out of this world good.

@@majorbuzz I'm glad you apologized for being too critical. It was also my 1st thought, but I wasn't there, and my whole community didn't almost burn to the ground a few years ago. I have friends who live there who freaked out when they saw a man burning trash. (My friends lost their home to the fire! Almost their lives!!) Again, thanks for your kindness and understanding.
I love the local stuff you show ..love the parks and attractions ..restaurants ..but like to see local stuff too wherever i go....?? Are the nature ateas safe around there ?for waman and kids without a man
Thanks for helping to educate the visitors who come here about what not to do and for being an ambassador of the park by helping to protect it. It’s sad that some people have no regard for the rules of the park.
My daddy would have loved to go on this hike. Daddy died 3 months ago at the young age of 97. He was in a wheel chair for the last few months of his life . Daddy hated the wheel chair but this would have been a joy to him. ❤❤😁😁
Good thing you caught the campfires. You always want to make sure you fire is completely out before you leave. It is bad enough they were camping where they were not suppose too.

We saw you pass by us yesterday in Pigeon Forge! We are staying at Zoders in Gatlinburg, that’s our usual place ! We were at Cades Cove this morning, and by lunch we saw 5 bears! Pam&Rob from KY! ✌️
Wow that looked really good. I'am not a wing person but that looked really good. The wings had steam coming off of them . Having food that is served cold makes a BIG difference in the way they taste. Nachos not a big thing with me but that looked really good. It all made my mouth water... maybe a thumbs up.this time...

I just starting watching your videos (just found them) but I've watched quite a few. This is my favorite so far because this is the best reaction from Dawn.
Will and Dawn, you two are most definitely the kind of people where you know that you will find great food and wonderful scenery. The Blue Moose was great. The chicken cordon blue looked very good. The nachos was great, and the wings were awesome! I definitely want some wings next time I’m out ordering. Then it was off to Sugerlands trail to look at some gorgeous scenery. 🙂🙂Will, you should have become a fireman. The way you handled the fire was great. People who do things like that are ridiculous. It took the time I found to get back to the car it was less than 2 minutes not a problem want to make sure the fire was out

Will and Dawn, you two are most definitely the kind of people where you know that you will find great food and wonderful scenery. The Blue Moose was great. The chicken cordon blue looked very good. The nachos was great, and the wings were awesome! I definitely want some wings next time I’m out ordering. Then it was off to Sugerlands trail to look at some gorgeous scenery. 🙂🙂Will, you should have become a fireman. The way you handled the fire was great. People who do things like that are ridiculous. I hope the rangers find them and they get what is coming to them. 😡😡It was a fantastic video. Will and Dawn, you did yourselves proud. See you on Thursday!

Have you heard anything about the crossroads inns and suites in Gatlinburg we're thinking about heading down there in a couple weeks we haven't picked a place to stay this place looks promising
