Absolute high art in every respect! I studied the Baroque Period while at Parsons Sch. of Design here in NYC and this is a wonderful reintroduction for me. Also, it’s given me new insight and renewed respect for Klaus Nomi - Sperber. He was a countertenor from Germany and my friend while at school. I’m seriously ecstatic to know this degree of talent still exists in today’s troubled world. It renews my soul and gives me hope for humanity. _Bravo!_

I don't have doubt when I say that this is a tremendous work, I can't talk about the performance and execution of every scene. It is, in my opinion, the best opera performed in the digital era.
Despite the beauty of this performance, the clothes character wasn't what I expected from Iranian ones at ancient times. All them remind me of the 18th century. But still bravo!
Great orchestra, direction and singers, but the stage is terrifying. Why to transform Baroque melodrama into a buffoonery? The Opera was a serious matter, just read a few lines written by an authority like Christoph Willibald Gluck.
Come now. Why frown. Serious in Neapolitan can look and feel like peak fun to so many. Fagioli is serious fun too. Nnapulitano is culture, forts and forte, Harlequin and Hercules, triple flavour, ruffles against rouge, volcano upon fresco, gilt and gaudy seated aside each other. One Vinci. One Metastasio. One Glorious Moment above Others. Enjoy. I'm still high 9 years later thanks to l'Opera national de Lorraine, Jaroussky, etc.

They were playing singers who were performing this opera. It's a new view on the opera, not buffoonery. I’m sorry you were disappointed
