G’day Half Persian Man 👋🏻🐚 Hehe, I think you might be right 😁 I’m so fortunate to live in a bountiful place like this. Thank you so much for watching 🥰
💛💛💛 The yellow bird cardita takes the cake today! 💛💛💛🎂 The next favorite is the red pipe coral. 🪸🪸🪸 I loved the cartwheel 🤸🤸🤸 shell. 🐚 Loved all the shells today! Thanks for a great adventure Maddie! By the way, thank you for the Christmas card and I love the pic of Ninja! Love pats to Ninja! 🥰🥰🥰
G'day Pam 👋🏻💖 I love the yellow Bird Cardita too, it's such an incredible colour on this little shell! 💖 Ohhh but the next favourites were the Pipe Coral and the cartwheel (Botany Bay Wheel Shell?) too! Awww you are most welcome for the card, Pam 💕 I'm glad you liked the Ninja love; she will get all of the reluctant pats!! Thank you so much for watching!🥰
G’day Green Thumb Gardener 👋🏻💖🐚 Oh wow, the lovely Snake-heads were the favourites this time! They were both lovely; one was very typical but in very nice condition, the other had golden spots! Gotta love seeing shells so same-same but different like that! Thank you so much for watching 🥰
G'day Fuller Family 👋🏻🐚 That yellow Bird Carditas almost doesn't seem like a colour that should be on a sea shell - it's almost a neon yellow in real life! The Ram's Horns are super sweet and swirly; also worth being a favourite for the day 😁 Thanks for watching 🥰
G'day Hurriyet 👋🏻🏖️ Those Yellow-toothed Cowries are really nice when they're fresh like this 😲 I do see a lot of faded and worn away ones too: they're plentiful here, but finding a shiny one is not so easy 😉 they're worth being the favourite 🤩 thank you so much for watching 🥰
G'day, Maddie! You have been very busy lately! You're out shelling while we have gray, freezing weather here in Austria. Our preferences coincide very closely again today. I like all the shells you showed but my favorites were all the ram's horns, the small Jackson's venus, the patriarchal mitre, the lovely yellow bird cardita, the pipi, the chameleon nerite and the cute little Botany Bay wheel shell. The variety of shells and corals today was so interesting, and your final display shows them off so artistically. Thank you so much for filming!
G'day Jan 👋🏻🏖️ I feel like I've been lazy lately over the last week; tides, timing, and odd jobs have kept me away from the beach, but I'm glad I squeezed this trip in on the Friday before school holidays started over here!! Oh wow, you have plenty of favourites from this one!! The colours and textures are so lovely on the carditas, mitre, venus, and ram's horn shells; I'm thrilled that you like them all as well! Brrrr Graz is too cold, but it's home and beautiful in every other way 🤩 do you always have white Christmas' over there? Thank you so much for watching 🥰
High Maddie 👋 Yeaaa !! Very nice assortment 🤩 very nice cowries, specially Palmadusta asellus, Erronea xanthodon and Melicerona listeri 😍 Nice colours variety of Cardita avuculina 🤩 very interesting Engina curtisiana, Clanculus clangulus🤩 The tiny Austroliotia botanica is a little treasure to my opinion 😍 the worm pipe Thylacodes sipho is interesting too , cause belongs to the phillum too. Spirula spirula are good keppers cause so fragile and original shape , have seen some fresh beached samples in Zanzibar, the creature is Red🤩 my preferred ones are Orphanopusia patriarchalis ❤and Conus cyanostoma❤ very nice shells 😍 compliments for the beautiful work, once more ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
G’day Francesco 👋🏻🐚 Hehe, there certainly were a few nice cowries this time 😁 though that Erronea xanthodon was fresher than I thought... it must have been recently deceased because it had a stong later! Ohhh I think this is the second time you've enjoyed seeing the Engina curtisiana; it's a fun little shell, isn't it! That Clanculus clangulus is also pretty interesting; my shelling resources say that they can't be found in Queensland, but I have found several here in now; maybe their habitats are changing? The Austroliotia botanica is super adorable and yess, it really is the treasure from the trip. Oh my goodness, I have no idea that the Spirula spirula is actually a red creature... what absolutely weird animals!! And the favourites for the trip are actually Orphanopusia patriarchalis and Conus cyanostoma?? Wow, I wouldn't have guess that; mostly because one is a little broken (but still lovely) and the other isn't as eye catching as some of the other shell. I'm super pleased that these underrated shells are getting some love from you. Thank you so much for watching 🥰

G'day Bonnie 👋🏻💖 Those Ram's Horns are really interesting 🤔 I guess it was the right time for a bunch of them to wash up?? I must check the open beaches around here for more of them! Thank you so much for watching 🥰
G’day Roberta 👋🏻💖 The organ pipe coral is amazing if you ever see pictures of it online; it’s about a thousand times bigger than the teeny tiny pieces I sometimes find 😮 it’s super cool! Ohh and I’m glad you liked the different bird cardigans and cowries today, as well Ram’s Horns - always a lucky find! Thanks for watching 🥰
Looks like a great day. Tide times aren't great at the moment for us but you've done well. I agree with your favourites today but always love the cowries.
G'day Donna 👋🏻🐚❤️ Oh my goodness, don't open that flood gate; I absolutely want to complain about the last week+ of tides here 😭😅 its been rough, especially when a few odd jobs have kept me off of the beach on otherwise okayish shelling days. Ahhh, but that's definitely a "me" problem 😂 I'm glad I got these goodies to show for this time! Thank you so much for watching 🥰
G’day Di 👋🏻🏖️ Thank you 😮 I’m thrilled that you enjoyed this adventure! It was nice to find those Ram’s Horns on the high wrack line; they were the cherry on top of the day! Thanks for watching 🥰
G'day Carole 👋🏻🏖️ Ohhh that's a nice pick 🤩 the colours and textures on it are so vibrant and intricate, it's a super interesting shell! Thank you so much for watching 🥰
G’day Reet 👋🏻💖 Me too!! I wish I found the unusual shell more often…but then they wouldn’t be unusual!!? It always feels extra lucky to find a Ram’s Horn because of that 😁 Thanks for watching 🥰
G'day Brian 👋🏻💖 Oh goodness, thank you!! I'm thrilled that you liked the incredible variety of shells this time 😀 It was only small ones, but the minis are really lovely in their own ways. Thank you so much for watching 🥰
Hi Maddie...I had three favorites today...the Patriarchal Mitre was cool and the Chameleon Nerite was pretty and the last was the Yellow Bird Cardita. All in all a very good assortment of shells ! Thanks again Maddie....hugs from Ontario, Canada...................Wanda
G'day Wanda 👋🏻💖🏖️ I'm so glad you loved those minis too, I think you picked the best of the bunch to shout-out. Even though that Patriarchal Mitre was a little broken, it's still amazing with those vibrant colours and textures 🥰 Thanks for watching, and for the hugs from Canada 🇨🇦
hello Maddie ! cannot believe that you changed sand and coffee rocks into shelling adventures actually its a nice name than sand and coffee rocks Have Your Best Adventures!
G’day Sarah 👋🏻💖 Thank you so much - I’m so glad you like the name change! It's a much different name than Sand & Coffee Rocks 🐚 but I also think it's nice to have a fresh name 😁 Thank you, I can't wait to have and show even more adventures! Thanks for watching 🥰
G’day Natalia 👋🏻💖 It was a fun day packed with the little mini treasures!! Ohh that Donkey was a cutie; they really don't pop up that often anymore, same with the Ram's Horns! 'm thrilled you liked them, thanks for watching 🥰
G’day Danielle 👋🏻🏖️ It was a day where the shells were a little harder to come by…being stubborn helped me to find the variety this time! Ahh, I think the rain really hampered your adventure; I hope you can try again soon before the schoolies arrive 😱 is it holiday time yet? Probably 😂?? Thanks for watching 🥰
The Red Wing! I’m sure he will glow 🤣❤️🐚 Those donkeys are so pretty! That Patriarchal Mitre is stunning 🤩 Those pipis are so colorful 😍 Love the rams horns-still looking for my replacement on the one I had that broke. I really like that brown line paper bubble. I’m wondering if I’ll ever find one over here technically you can get them in Florida- never seen anyone post of finding one here though so far. Super-duper awesome arrangement at the end I love that tree stump too! Fun as always happy shelling 🐚❤️😍
G'day Roxann 👋🏻🏖️ Heheh, Queensland sure likes to put on a show of colours! I never really thought much of the Pipis before, so it's kinda crazy how much people like that 😲 I think it's the same with your Lettered Olives and Fighting Conches? I think they're amazing, but they must be so normal for you! Awww no Roxann, I hope you get a replacement for your Ram's Horn - maybe your hubby will get you one for Christmas? They are super delicate, and accidents happen, but I'm sure he was pained to have upset you. As for those Brown-lined Paper Bubbles, I did a quick Google search and saw that they're in the Atlantic Ocean, with one picture of a live one at Lake Worth lagoon (I'm guessing the ocean beach, not the actual lake...unless it's a saltwater lake?) Maybe one will pop up around there? Hehe, thank you so much for your kind words and for watching 🥰 that tree stump is one of my favourite spots to set up the small shells... they roll off of rocks too easily, so the flat woodgrain is perfect!
G'day Jane 👋🏻🏖️ I'm doing well, though lately I feel like I'm sitting around and waiting for the tides and weather to be better for shelling 😂 Those Snake-heads were cute this time; one in particular was a real stand out. Oh my goodness, that's going to be a really cool part of your adventure!!! Off to Tasmania, how exciting! I wish I had some I sider knowledge to share about the best beaches there for shells, but I truly have no idea 🥲 I think one person on the east coast mentioned some Tasmanian screen shells by the thousands on one of their beaches, but the recent weather washed them away there?? Probably not helpful in the slightest for you, and way too general 😅 I wish you and Micheal the very best of luck, and to enjoy all the sights that Tassie has to offer. Have fun!! 🥰
G'day JR 👋🏻🐚 Oh my goodness, you're the third person in as many weeks to ask 😲 I see a trend happening 😂!! I think I must make an update video soon, the only thing stopping me is that I have 2 unboxing videos to publish over the next few months, and I don't want to show any spoilers for it. I'm not sure if that matters or not 🤔 but I still want all of the incredible shells in the next two unboxings to be a surprise to most long time views. But then again, a lot of people want to see a cabinet update, so I might do it sooner... Anyhoo! Expect an update sometime between now and February?? Thanks for watching 🥰
Hey Maddie! Great video! I was really thrilled when I saw you find the little wheel shell. I’ve found one almost identical but a bit larger here in SW Vic and I had no idea what it was! I wonder if what I found is the same species. I must look it up and see if it’s found down here. We often get the rams horn shells here too, mostly after bad weather and often hidden amongst the weed. A bit random but I found a sting ray mouth plate the other day and my first thought to myself was “I wonder if Maddie has ever found one of these!”😂 I did also wonder if you find chiton shells/segments up there too? I’m not sure I’ve seen them pop up in your vids. Anyway, great job on the shell hunting adventure once again😁
G'day Melanie 👋🏻💖 Thank you!! The mini episodes can be very exciting with all of the different species that wash ashore... I only wish that some of them were a tiny bit bigger~ O yes, that tiny wheel shell was so cute -no too common anywhere, I think? But YES, their distribution zone is from Fraser Island here in Queensland, all the way to western South Australia and parts of Tasmania. All the info is on this fantastic website resource: seashellsofnsw.org.au/Turbinidae/Pages/Austroliotia_botanica.htm Ohhh that's right: you get a lot of weed and sea grass washing up; and the urchins get stuck in it too? Urchins each the grass and kelp, so that's why you have so many colourful little urchins coming ashore! My goodness, and you found a stingray mouthplate too? I've never found one of them here, but I know other people have; I was even shown a stingray tail barb that someone found on one of the day I was out there. Really cool!! Yess, yesssss plenty of chitons; I simple don't show them because I'm a bit iffy about them. There are plenty of live chitons on the rocks, and during some times (either bad weather or a heat wave) they wash up in segments or as wholes. I don't usually collect them because I never know how to preserve the fleshy part. The segment pieces would be much better; I just tend to over look them for sea shells... honestly, it's a bit of an oversight on my part! Same with crab carapaces and crab molts, I typically leave them behind as well. I'd love to collect shark teeth; I know they can wash up sometimes too... however, I'm told that the fisheries department is not too happy with people taking and keeping them. I'm not totally sure what the exact regulations are, but if I found one; I wouldn't show it in the video!! Maybe I'll get lucky with on this xmas! Do they ever pop up for you down there? Wow, I digressed a lot! Thank you so much for watching!~~
@ Hey Maddie! Thanks for the link to the info on the wheel shell, it’s great to figure out the species of shells I didn’t know😄 I’m still learning so many and I tend to stick with the common names😅 We can find lots of sharks teeth on a few of our local beaches, however, I haven’t had any luck in even finding one yet! My brother has a great collection of sharks teeth he’s found over the years. I don’t know if my eyes aren’t picking them up because they’re trained on shells but I hope to one day find some! I’m begging to learn there’s a lot more regulations on things you can collect from beaches than I realised! I collected (what I later found out through Facebook) a seal shoulder bone and I had no idea it was illegal to keep😬 it’s not my intention to take what I’m not meant to. I’m not sure what our rules are for sharks teeth down here but I wouldn’t be able to leave it behind if I found one! I was never terribly fussed with the chiton segments, but I started collecting some of the more brightly coloured ones. I thought they might look nice together in a jar. But lately I’ve also noticed some whole ones washing up and I have brought them home. I too was worried about the fleshly part around the rim being smelly, but actually they’re not at all. I’ve left them outside to dry a little further but absolutely no smell. But these ones had none of the inside flesh left, just around the edge. I don’t know the technical term for it sorry😅 I’ve also only just started picking up a couple small crab molts, and it was only because of your unboxing video that someone had sent you some and I thought “hmm they’re interesting, maybe I need a couple!”😄
@@QTPA2TMEL It can be so hard to identify the shells; even just the common names -you're doing great!! I think there is a very large learning curve when it comes to getting into shell names, and a lot of collectors only use scientific names, which adds to the difficulty, and then they scoff at people who use common names... well, I've only had one commenter like that; most shell nerds are pretty cool ;) I think the laws are very difficult to learn sometimes; there isn't a lot of awareness or education about it. Some people I've spoken to think it's illegal to collect any shell from any beach in Australia, and I just say "well, you'd better arrest every 6 year old who takes home a shell on school holiday!" But seriously, I think it's something like this in regards to animals: it's illegal to keep or possess animal remains (hides, fur, bones) from native Australian Animals. Shells are ok, even for the native ones, so it also adds to that confusion... I think bird feathers are ok, but don't quote me on that!! Actually, I'm not even fully sure if the laws are only for native animals or if it extends past that in some circumstances. But yeah, seal bones and the turtle bones that I see at Hervey Bay are ones to leave behind. As for shark teeth; I'd never /show/ collecting one ;) I'm not sure about the technical term for any of the chiton parts either!! I know the fleshy outer part you're talking about though, and I'm surprised it doesn't stink! Wait, how hot is it over there? I wonder if it would stink in my 32 degree temps right now??? Some of the ones here have nice bright blues on their segments, which do stand out nicely. Hehe, the crabs can be absolutely beautiful! Collect anything that brings you joy; some of the crab molts are crazy cool. I don't think I'd collect any except for maybe the rare ones? The deep water Spider Crabs sometimes wash up alive here, so I might collect a nice molt of one if I ever saw it.
Hello again Brian!! Yes, right before 10:39 I had Lace Coral in my hands...I dropped a piece, but I'm sure I picked it up, hehe!! Thanks again for watching 🥰

Thanks for the link to the info on the wheel shell, it’s great to figure out the species of shells I didn’t know😄 I’m still learning so many and I tend to stick with the common names😅
We can find lots of sharks teeth on a few of our local beaches, however, I haven’t had any luck in even finding one yet!
I don’t know the technical term for it sorry😅
I’ve also only just started picking up a couple small crab molts, and it was only because of your unboxing video that someone had sent you some and I thought “hmm they’re interesting, maybe I need a couple!”😄
@@QTPA2TMEL It can be so hard to identify the shells; even just the common names -you're doing great!! I think there is a very large learning curve when it comes to getting into shell names, and a lot of collectors only use scientific names, which adds to the difficulty, and then they scoff at people who use common names... well, I've only had one commenter like that; most shell nerds are pretty cool ;)
I think the laws are very difficult to learn sometimes; there isn't a lot of awareness or education about it. As for shark teeth; I'd never /show/ collecting one ;)
I'm not sure about the technical term for any of the chiton parts either!!
