I always thought the ride games feel better than moto gp, also I think robo’S input to the games over the years with coverage and inputs has played a big part in the progression of the ride games from first one to ride 4 👍🏻
Well I try to give feedback where I can, not saying this was because of me but I have been asking for proper endurance races and the Suzuka 8 hour since RIDE 2 and now we have them 😊
Loving this, getting me hyped for the game! Rider animation looks weird because it's behind the bike and inverted I think? Like the bike changes direction, then the rider does after, but he does it with the upper body being the last thing he moves, when in reality it's either moved at the same time or the first
Holy crapioca pudding Batman! i fricken did it!! I got first!!!! The Canadian tire gp circuit!! Took me a few tries getting used to the bike and how it had to lay down into long sharp corners. I can’t play in the cockpit view but I have the HANG ON with the close up cam behind the rider. Man it brings back the sega days
You and me both. Love the game, but it is a real challenge. Got it up to 79 difficulty now and only just holding on. Takes a few tries. I'm terrible at the last stock 600 race at Algarve.
Stuck a 00.42.243 gold in the wet Nurburgring time-trial thanks to this video. Never would’ve thought I could brake so late at the hairpin and still make the turn, until dissecting the results in this clip here. That said, I have a HARD time believing that was your first go at it, familiar with the circuit or not. This clip is designer approved ✅
Im really not a fan of the new time attacks, finishing the race for touching the grass is ridiculous, don't like that fact that tyre wear isn't optional either, the events with the gates is also not enjoyable at all
Hey Robo46! I have a question about ride 4, do you have the possibility to do custom championships? Or is it the same way it was in ride 3 (I didn't like it) Thanks!
I know you said you don't play Ride 4 anymore on the other thread, but as a noob to racing games I would appreciate some advice. I finally completed the Euro license and managed all Gold. I've just started the Euro 600cc cup and doing ok (I play on easy), but I find suddenly when I accelerate out of corners the back wheel slides out and I crash. This didn't happen, or at least no where near as badly, during the license Mugello CBR. I chose the CBR again and kept the settings the same but it just keeps sliding and I crash too often. I'm sure that it's more realistic and I need to get used to it, but why is it so different to the license? I even went back and did Mugello on the license again, got gold first try. Went back to 600cc cup and wiped out on the first corner of Algarve. Great vid by the way, really helps.
@@ROBO46 initially no as I was trying to make it exactly as the license one. Have since switched to slicks. Cool will also try the engine breaking, thanks. Really just feels so different to the license, like playing a totally different game.
I'm glad that change of direction is a little slower, but I am a little weirded out by the swooping rider animation. It would had looked better if the rider animation when changing direction was a lot tighter/ closer to the tank.
Awesome racing, could you do a tips and tricks on things that can help people ride faster in the game? I think a lot of people would benefit cause it's definitely a difficult game to get a grip off, compared to ride 3 for example.
Do different exhausts actually sound different from the stock one? Also, the tyre temp/wear indicator seems to suggest the front is hotter than the rear? That can’t be right surely.
Front tire is smaller and takes all the front brake... which has more braking power than the rear, and is used more (and more intensely) than the rear. Idk how tire pressure is set on the track, but on the street, front tire is generally lower psi than the rear, as well. Because of all that, the front tire would likely be hotter. That’s just my youtube armchair physics, though.
Everything you said makes sense. All those factors would make the front tyre hotter than it would be otherwise. My experience from road riding (not track) was that the rear tyre was generally warmer after an enthusiastic ride and it wore down twice as fast as the front. On track though I’m sure things are quite a bit different, and they would be braking much harder than I ever would on the road.
Is it me but does it lack clutch and correct foot animation for rear brake and down shifting gears. It seem a real shame as the brake fluid sloshing about in dash cam is so awesome
for me, ride 1 was the only ground breaking game they have made. every ride since has looked very similar and hasn't caught up with modern day realisitcs in simulation, the sounds are still terrible and the game just doesn't feel like riding an actual bike. i would prefer if they just used motogp physics but slightly tweaked.
ua-cam.com/video/4wDaWmHX5pY/v-deo.html I thought the same but the sound of the RSV4 sounds so much better now than in the first ride and the physics look so arcadey for that game as well now.
one problem with ride 4 this one i think the supermoto dirty bikes will be the same as ride 3 and ride 2 and ride 1 as thay dont changed unlike the superbikes thay have changed a lot to ride 3 and ride 2 and ride 1 the ride 4 superbikes are much better then the other ride games as you said about the brake fluid it not realistic like this ride 4 but ride 3 could of done the same as this and the tyres aswell are more better then ride 3 if you noticed the bike dose not handle well in this one in the rain as it is a bit slipery but if you done it on ride 3 on wet weather you dont noticed it just like racing a car around the track it is the same as that. i think the AI could do with a bit of updateing and the lag aswell but the bikes i love them and the realistic i love it and the tyres aswell. and please can you do the other races the naked bikes and the stock 1000 please and then do the other tires aswell.
the AI are still terrible in this game they have had 4 times to try get this game right and everytime they fuck something up sad really as this game could be really good if they just listened to the community
It's hard to believe they released this with AI that just plough into the back of you at every opportunity. Sticking with the far superior IOM TT Ride On the Edge 2.
Again I believe this to be the reason why I was left out of the preview for this game, I would’ve told them straight away that the AI are dumb and slow
@@ROBO46 glad I never bought this one tried before I bought it and saved myself some cash lol I mean it’s milestone so I knew what to expect and they lived up to the rep they’ve gained
@@fatClyde But Dude... "it's ANNA... it's brand new. It's a AI that learns from all the riders." Yeah obviously ANNA learns most from the casual crashing riders instead of the good clean ones! 🤣😅🤦♂️
I love that you actually had to nurse your rear tire in that last race. It'll make racing more dynamic and more interesting
Rain physics seem realistic, shiny track and screen water looks authentic 👌🏻
That bridge section after the Schumacher S is what nightmares are made of 😵
I’ve crashed there in Ride 3 more times than I can count 😂
It’s horrible isn’t it 😂

LOOk at his RPM it increases in the corner without getting more speed!. thats realistic.
( Its because the wheels are smaller on the outside.)
👏😎
Downloaded it last night and I’m loving it so far
You drive exactly the same R6 im having in reallife (even with the aniversity logo) lol...looks good :D
Nice 👍👍
You making this look easy! I've got the AI on the easiest setting and I'm only just winning races 😄. I enjoy it though

@@Vino1337 honestly they should of not bothered bringing out 4 and just kept DLC and updates going for 3 cause it was just a better game in every way
@@TheMotocross166 Nah! should have fixed 3 first, totally unrealistic physics imo.
Amazing content pal. You should do a comparison between ride 1 and 4. Keep up the good work and the great content 👍🏻👍🏻
I have both those bikes in my garage except the Speed Triple is a 07 1050. I've been thinking about buying this game.
loving the content dude!
Thank you!!!

I love the into Jam lol
I feel like it being a little bit slower getting the bike to turn helps it feel a little bit more realistic personally
Does realistic physics provide faster turns than easy physics? I have that impression.

Are you using slick tyres?? Also try lowering your engine braking as this can cause the rear to step out under heavy braking.

Nice video!. One question, when i have to use the rear brake? Before see this video, I always used both brakes haha
I hardly use the rear brake on RIDE 4 as it causes me to crash
I read reviews on the Xbox store and they were pretty rough is this game worth the buy? Is it better than motogp22?

auomauom : you can choose between 3 riding styles. This is the more extreme one!
Your critique on the turning had me wondering. It's with stock settings? Have you tried upgrading the suspension and adjusting it?
How is ur eletronics settings?

ride with all the aids on like the guy in the video lmao
I wish I was half as good as you😅keep struggle just for bronze
Tergimonni? 🤔
Hey what AI difficulty do you play
Can you put some bike set up stuff in a video?
whats the difference between wet and dry racing? Is it only tyre grip or there is also lean angle limitation like in MotoGP games?
You da best mane
Shit is so hard to wrap my head around lol just got it. Not going to give up this time.
Have they improved handling?

There is a clutch but you don’t need to use it

i m portuguese too eheheh good video
How's the bike handling more real ?
Yes it is
how do you slow acelerat on the conors?
Touch the accel trigger gently and gradually instead of going full throttle instantly. Don’t on/off the throttle; roll on and off.
I am so bad at this game! I’m really struggling with everything on here, licences and racing alike. Gold medals are really hard to get for me.
Keep practicing mate you’ll get there 👍
2:06 critic moments!!
Are you really playing if you are in third person?
Of course, I’m using a controller and everything
Only 12 bike grid is big dissapointment for me..
Well online for the next gen is up to 20 players so hopefully they up the single player races too

That view is so hard to get “the hang of”

Is it 60 FPS on X?
