I did everything but my website doesnt work without the www, how can I fix that??
What do you mean? When typing in the URL online or the setup.
@@StewartGauld Hi, same problem for me, did everything according the video - web works with www. (when typing in the url), without www it redirects me on hostinger page with „Happy to see your domain with Hostinger!
Your domain is active and is using Hostinger nameservers. Take the recommended steps below to continue your journey with Hostinger." I am totaly noob in this, but it seems like has something to do with Manage DNS records - add some redirecting for non www command?
@@lukasfic9834 If this Google Site is going to be the primary website for your domain, you'll need to set up URL forwarding so that people who don't type the "www" can still get to your site.
But in my email doesn't have custom domain. And the administrator of my school didn't know too how to appear the custom domain name
Have you seen our info on how to add this? See description.
At the custom domain name verification step, it did not prompt me to that add txt step. It directed me to cname step. I followed that and published. But its not showing up on google. Please help.
Hey,
I will have to look into this.
lovely video, insightful! Quick question Do i need hosting before i publish my Google site?
No hosting is included for free by Google.
Hey, great tutorial. I’ve done all the steps but my domain only links to my Google site. The Google site is still the web address?
Did you give it 24 hours?
Google is listing my website as http and not as https. Please guide.
Do you have a SSL?
@@StewartGauld yes, I have. Btw it's resolved. Thank you.
I bought my email domain from google. so how can i use my domain for the website too?
Have you seen our comment regarding this?
It works except for URLs without the "www". Other than that, great video, thanks!
Thanks!
