Through listening to his sermons, I've been able to get through. I've learned how to pray again, lean on God again and i've not felt more spiritually confident than i do now. Wow, timely! God has been reminding me to worship Him in the worst of times, because that brings joy which testifies to his Presence to others. (It's also the only way through /over the storm). If we rejoice in trials people will know there is a good God.
Romans 14:17 "For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness peace and JOY in the Holy Spirit." Amen Psalms 126:5 "Those who sow in tears shall reap in JOY." Proverbs 12:20 Deceit is in the heart of those who plot evil, but those who promote peace have joy. Finally Joy is the fruit of Holy Spirit. When we remain in God. Worldly stuffs promotes and gives happiness (which is temporary) and not Joy (which remains throughout) no matter what life brings forth. For our FOCUS is not on worldly things but the things in heaven.
Amen. What a powerful sermon, we look for joy in all the wrong places, people and materials when it can come from changing our perspective to what could be.

Thank you so much Pastor Furtick. I am struggling with grief from the loss of my aunt. It helps to focus on the fact that she lived a life that pleased God and had right relationship with Jesus. For that joy that was set before me, I’ll endure the tears of missing her. It doesn’t feel good but her purpose was greater. Now I can perpetuate the name of Jesus because she taught me all about him. Thank you! I needed that word!
Pastor Furtick, I'm going through a really difficult time right now. I say difficult because I know nothing is impossible or to hard with God. It's one of those situations where I know there's a way somewhere, I just don't know where yet. I'm in a position of waiting. Can you and your church family pray for me please? I am not yet familiar with Gaston county and all their programs they have available to assist in these times of need. However, I am struggling to get some food in my house and I am incredibly embarrassed even putting this here... but I know God and He has always made ways when I didn't see one. Everyone's going through something right now and I know I'm not alone in this. I was in a really dark place when God called me. I was depressed and ready to quit. This was in the start of 2020, and I have had a lot to overcome since then! Glory to God. I know I'm going around my ankles to get out what I'm needing.. but I'd really be ever so grateful if you all could just keep my family in your prayers🤲 I am praying that God shows me the way through this. Pastor Steven Furtick he's changed me from the inside out I've been listening to him for over three and a half years. I spend an hour every night with him and he has taught me how to deal with trouble when they come. Let me clarify God has changed me but it's through his words. There waits for us a hope greater than anything we know on this earth and that is the hope we find in Christ and in our place with Him in eternity. His resurrection has paved the way for our own. We have nothing to lose and everything to gain when we set our hopes on the world beyond this one.

Looking back on alot of my trials I am thankful that God has said he will never give us more than we can handle. And though at some points it didn't feel like that afterward I realized it is the truth. I could not handle anyone else's trials. Nor could they handle mine.
I was terminated from my job because I got caught vaping. I said thank you and laughed because I had another job the next morning making more money more welcoming. Gain gain gain gain. Thank you Lord God 💞 💞
Pastor S I was watching this video about joy. The trials of it. During that video I received notice my mother died. I feel my soul crying. It hurts so bad, but I feel joy because she is with God now. Please pray for her as she transition to her new life. Amen
