Don’t blow off safety: Fireworks safety tips ahead of the holiday week

The Shapiro administration emphasized important safety tips ahead of the Fourth of July week at Codorus State Park.
While many Americans are preparing to grill, camp out, or go to the beach, officials wanted the public to know a few things about firework safety.
"If you look around and think, 'Boy, that could go badly,' stop. Don't do it," said John "J.C." Tedorski, the deputy state fire commissioner.
Keystone Fireworks opened a new location in Dauphin County with sales that offer customers to buy one item and get the other at $9.99.
Salespeople are anticipating more people to come in not only because of the deal but also because it’s the busiest time of year for them, despite being open year-round.
