- The BUSHCRAFT BACKPACK STRAP HACK is bushcraft innovation at it's finest!
I like to implore that the gear you carry has more than one use - with this simple cordage ratchet strap you can bundle gear, attach things to...things or use it as a pack hanger to keep your pack dry and camp organized! So many odds, so many ends with this simple to craft and simple to use added accessory!

I’ve been using what I call “boondocks bungies” for ever. I like “bushcraft ratchet strap” - I may have to switch up names… ;)
Love these things!...also double as a pack hanger 🎉 :::

Kind of like a Canadian jam knot but I can see it's duality of use you mentioned in the description 👍
Oh this is a keeper! I love tying up….. stuff. Glad BCBo endorses proper safety gear!

Alarming and then strangely calming.😁

Another awesome video man! Love the creative aspect alongside learning something new 🤘🏻🤙🏼
Thanks for saying so Holmes!
😂 I take it you made it out ok?
Doin just fine ;)
Twist your toggle 180 and it will release
Heh, I've always just messed w/ it a bit 😅 thx for them heads up!
Where ya headed?
We'll be out in the Guatemalan jungle for a night or two but thinking about doing a live feed from Mexico next Friday before we dig deep 🎉
I have more important things to do at camp... like eat chocolate, drink wine and have sex. So I make these at home and keep a bunch in a baggie with my Prisssik Knots.
I visit the dumpsters at campgrounds to find damaged and abandoned tents. I strip these for the fabric to make bags and the toggle-buttons to make these straps. I can also buy toggle-buttong by the dozen from Temu for about a buck.
Nice!
I'm all about scavenging & using everything and every option available but I'm next to never at leisure sites :s
...and yes,
I tend to make these at home but have done so in the bush as well ~ either way, I feel, it's all about the love of crafting!
Thx for watching and the dialog!
These get better & better @bcbocraft.
Thx for saying so 💕
