You’re very faithful to the game’s mechanics (at least compared to other splatoon animators) which is an admirable trait in your work. I’m also happy about the fact that they lost. Having victory come easy is very annoying for me in storytelling, so good job. Yes, the animation needs work, and I think one way you can improve it is by including more arcs in your body movements. For example, when we turn our heads, we usually tilt them forward and little in the middle of the turn. If you drew a line that followed the path of the nose, it should make an arc that dips down. Yeah. It bugs me when so many animations have them squidforming over non-inked ground and moving faster that way, when that's not accurate at all, they'd actually be moving slower, whereas this guy actually had them only squidforming over their ink which was much more accurate! I guess most animators have done the former because making walking animations is hard, but it is inaccurate nonetheless.
@@legoboy7107 I’ll admit that I’m also guilty of having them swim on the floor in my animation, but I’m definitely getting rid of that aspect in future episodes of my series.
