    i visited Monument Valley during the winter of 2017. It was freezing and there was snow on the ground. But there was barely anyone there and it was gorgeous!

    I'm really impressed with the image stabilization, however you did it. I've not used a camera that can stabilize that well (I don't think), have never attempted to use that function in video editing software. About 5 seconds in I realized the hood was bouncing around yet the view wasn't shaky at all. Anyways, splendid footage, maybe I'll go there someday but this gets me much of the experience I wanted.

    I plan on driving it this year (I'm from Ohio). Also would like to find another trail that's a little rougher to reduce the number of cars on it.

    • @AdventureEveryDay
      @AdventureEveryDay  2 роки тому

      There really aren’t any other roads you can drive on within Monument Valley unfortunately. But there are lots of other off road trails outside Monument Valley, particularly around the Moab area. Thanks for watching!

    How rough is the road for a sedan?

    • @AdventureEveryDay
      @AdventureEveryDay  2 роки тому

      It’s bumpy, but should be fine for a sedan. There were BMW sedans and VW Beetles out there that day.

    So I’m going from Grand Junction to Moab for a couple nights and I wanted to drive to monument valley from there and do this drive. I also wanted to stay on BLM land in Valley of the Gods but is that feasible from Moab and back to Moab?

    • @AdventureEveryDay
      @AdventureEveryDay  3 роки тому +1

      We did the drive from Moab down to Monument Valley, drove the Monument Valley Scenic Loop, then drove back to Moab (we also stopped and climbed up to Wilson Arch on Route 191 which was definitely fun) all in 1 day. It’s definitely doable and reasonable, but we would definitely recommend dedicating a whole day to it.

    • @tonygareth221
      @tonygareth221 3 роки тому

      @@AdventureEveryDay Thanks for that! Really helpful! But where is valley of the gods? We were thinking of camping one night there free on BLM land

      @@tonygareth221 We haven’t camped at Valley of the gods or anywhere else in that area, so unfortunately we don’t have a ton of information regarding camping.
