In America, we have something called Lunchables, which is prepackaged slices of cheese and meat with crackers and most children eat them like little sandwiches. S made his own version of a lunchable. I tend to call charcuterie boards just adult lunchables.
Try ratatouille. Eggplant (use the Japanese or Chinese), zucchini, peppers, plump tomatoes in a tomato based sauce with parsley cooked in oil, seasoned nicely & cut in chunks.....its a rustic peasant dish from France. Gorgeous for a winter hearty dish.

One day I want to be Japan during te new year period. I want to get some lucky bags, check the sales. We don't have anything like that here in the Netherlands. Love the short boots you got. Looks great under skirts and dresses as well as pants. The tomato an basil pasta reminded me of a napolitan had at a local café this autumn in Tokyo. Went back several times for it. I'm still stying to recreate it at home.
Love the shopping trips and when you cook. I noticed some of the store ads were in English. Is there much English spoken there? I know your family is bi lingual. Here in Costa Rica, the older generation doesn't want to speak English. They teach it in the schools so the young people will be well prepared for any career. Do they teach it in the schools there? Hi Linna, I’ve just checked the numbers , until now I’ve cooked 40900 meals since I left my parents’house ....and in France we don’t cook breakfast , so only lunch and dinner ...nowadays I cook only for myself but I used to cook for our family of 5 ...I think you have a long way to go since you’re young 😅
