I have one of my moms old thimbles that I put on when trimming around with a hobby knife. I've used those paper punches in the past for thinner sheets. once the plastic starts to break you can then use a small mallet on them.
Thanks for uploading video. If I wanted to make faux feathers would I start with a thin piece cut into feather shape, trimming & sanding down edges for thinner "feathered" ends. Add another piece down the centre about a 1/3 of width of feather for thicker feathers & quill (or a 1/2 circle rod for "quill"?) Carve & sand as needed then prime & paint? Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks /Rosemary

I have a thought about cutting Circles and Disks with Styrene, you should use the Proxxon 37080 Hot Wire Cutter, hope that helps.
