Lovi is finally publicly recognized! Hope all of FPJ children regardless of having different mothers will continue to get along very well. Because at the end of the day, family is family wala naman talagang iba na magtutulungan kundi ang kapamilya din.
Wasn't she recognized then when Jessica Soho asked FPJ point blank if he had another child, a daughter? He readily said yes. For those who thought he didn't recognize her publicly, he may have had reasons and we can just speculate on them. One might be due to Lovi being a minor, she definitely does not need the nasty comments amd unwanted attention a very young child/teen can not and should not handle then given the circumstance of her birth. Two, the mere fact that people can hardly name who her mother is for quite a few years AND can't even point her out even in this video, shows that her mother (and her own family) are very private people, so why would FPJ, unceasingly recognized as a gentleman by his peers, declare the identity of his then minor daughter and her mother? Three, even if he has revealed his transgression to his wife, the equally loved and respected late Susan Roces, delicadeza dictates that he shouldn't be heartless and callous as to expose (I believe "balandra" was the old term) this to the public. It was different with Ronian as he was already a young adult then. Given a few more years FPJ would have acknowledged his daughter Lovi publicly when she is well equiped to handle all the intrigues and nasty comments. Sadly that's what they didn't have, time. Sen Grace giving out that last statement, practically declaring to the whole world that her baby sister was FPJ'S daughter, only shows how confident, grateful, protective and loving a person / big sister she is. She had the best youthful years of both FPJ & Susan Roces by having their attention, time, wisdom, and everything else they could provide materially, and for that she is both thankful and grateful. Thus, just like any well-raised "panganay" I believe she tried her best to look out for her siblings given their peculiar situation, when all was revealed, particularly towards Lovi the bunso. Sen Grace declaring that Lovi is FPJ's daughter, can be recognized, as her way of extending the love, care, and protection she has received through the years from this larger then life man, her means of saying "thank you" to the man who loved her unconditionally, and is a reflection of how her mother/parents raised her to be - a true, strong and loving lady.

I believe she had some work done on her face particularly her eyes, nose and jawline, sorry to burst your bubble. Her eyes were hooded then, now her eyelids were sort of extended to make them deep set like FPJ's, who always had those since birth. She has a thinner face now compared to a much squarish jawline before, and I don't know, her nose seems "longer" and slimmer at the bridge area and narrower at the tip. These changes can not simply be attributed to outgrowing puberty. If she were a combination of her parents looks she would have a rounder face by now as she would've left it untouched. I also think she consciously embraced and maintained her dusky complexion, not giving in to whitening treatments. KUDOS to her for this, as it really suits her. FPJ's complexion is, I think an effort for him to maintain because of his "outdoorsman macho pang masa image" but he lost a little bit of his tan as he matured making his mestizo looks a little bit more pronounced as he advanced in age. Just by putting side by side Lovi's photos when she was just starting in the business and her images now. It seemed that she really did make a conscious effort to look like her father. For whatever reason, whether she feels closer to him by having the enhancements, or to simply shut other people's mouths, questioning her if indeed she was DA KING's daughter, at least these choices made her happy and confident especially in the entertainment world where an actor's looks are part of his/her appeal and is continously scrutinized the public.

There are other videos showing the mom walking down the grassy aisle in an off-shoulder orange-y gown. now, THAT makes me wonder why Lovi didn't choose to have her mother, on this very special ocassion, supposedly once-in-a- lifetime one, walk her down the aisle to give her away. It may be unconventional to some cultures, but as her Ate Grace mentioned she is one to pick choices that seem to be not considered mainstream, a non-conformist.
