Blame some producer at Toei for that. He thought that kids didn’t want robots that could combine or had a unifying feature more than they wanted robots. The low toy sales tell me that Bandai won’t be taking his advice again.

Don't get me wrong, they did a good job with the robots and the weapons, but they don't feel like super sentai ones. If they made the weapons combine into mini mechas/mega weapons it would have been better, especially if you could mix and match between them and you could create a 6th mecha by combining them all.

If there is an additional component that does not have a driver, it is still ok, but this is the main component of the vehicle, Kiramei Blue. Then what is very unfortunate is that there is no mecha from all the vehicle combinations, if there is a big mecha there may be but for the combination there is not one. Recently all the mecha combinations patren vs lupine, that I think is cool anyway.

It puzzles me as to what the port on Gigant Driller would be used for. It's just sitting there next to the head, but with no real use in the toyline. Makes me think that they were planning on something different that fell through.

Design wise, they are probably the safest design choice of the decade. I honestly really like it. Previous season were a clusterfuck to look at, but they were cool designs though. Though the things that make Kiramaiger really good is actually the writing and actor's performance. Legit, they are all super interesting and really well thought off. Ryusoulger got the cool factor went on, but their acting and story were kinda a letdown. Not to mention the jokes missed their mark a lot. IIRC, Kiramaiger is well received by the Japanese audience.
Interesting that they don't put sticker anymore, but sadly that make this looks like bit bootleg if you compare with gogo V and caranger zord looks more realistic
I kinda wish these made it to the states. Also Kiramajin gives me similar issues toward Shoutmon X4 and X5 with the sword. I mean X5 is still called that even without the sword.

WHY IS THE MASHINE BASE SO EXPENSIVE?! It’s just a bunch of plastic slots that connect together and machine carry. I can live without machine carry cause I ain’t forking over $126 at least that’s the price it’s at now.

Thankfully the Mini-Pla set included an extra set of the express. But it only came 1 part in every box, meanwhile Zabyu-N was 2 sets per box.
