5 robots and none of them is combinable with each other. They look cool tho
Blame some producer at Toei for that. He thought that kids didn’t want robots that could combine or had a unifying feature more than they wanted robots.
The low toy sales tell me that Bandai won’t be taking his advice again.
@@androzani84productions85 I'm impressed that a toy company could make such a dumb decision since usually toy companies want to sell as many toys as possible.
Don't get me wrong, they did a good job with the robots and the weapons, but they don't feel like super sentai ones. If they made the weapons combine into mini mechas/mega weapons it would have been better, especially if you could mix and match between them and you could create a 6th mecha by combining them all.
The fact that they aren’t compatible is why I hate this season
@@vizardnaruto3 Really? Just for this? I mean, yes, it pisses me off a lot, but Gingaman/Lost Galaxy had non-combinable mech and nobody declared them bad for it. You should hate the season for other reasons, like if the characters are unlikeable and/or the plot is weak .
and again..they made red mecha the main core of the robot...
I do feel slightly disappointed that there's no clusterfuckbot from these past few seasons. Starting to miss those tbh

I know that sparkling is the theme, but somehow it feels like everything was made in a far cheaper way possible. Like, say what you will about ryousoulger but the potential of the creative clusterfuck it had was unique and possible a new thing for awhile. But seeing this kind of mecha is just sad.
it think it was made that way to save investment for Zenkaiger, still, i liked the power up and Greatful Phoenix
Unfortunately, I think they made it that way because they had to save up money for Zenkainger, I mean just look at Zenkainger... it looks expensive :/

20:22 I'm more interested that to do a combination you literally need piece from set that sold earlier than it, like what if people want combination but they don't have king express, it is strange.
Thankfully the Mini-Pla set included an extra set of the express. But it only came 1 part in every box, meanwhile Zabyu-N was 2 sets per box.

Design wise, they are probably the safest design choice of the decade. I honestly really like it. Previous season were a clusterfuck to look at, but they were cool designs though.
Though the things that make Kiramaiger really good is actually the writing and actor's performance. Legit, they are all super interesting and really well thought off. Ryusoulger got the cool factor went on, but their acting and story were kinda a letdown. Not to mention the jokes missed their mark a lot.
IIRC, Kiramaiger is well received by the Japanese audience.

At first I watched a few episodes until their full mecha, I thought "what the heck, since when did the main component of the mecha become a weapon? (Ie the kiramei blue vehicle)". If there is an additional component that does not have a driver, it is still ok, but this is the main component of the vehicle, Kiramei Blue.
Then what is very unfortunate is that there is no mecha from all the vehicle combinations, if there is a big mecha there may be but for the combination there is not one. Recently all the mecha combinations patren vs lupine, that I think is cool anyway.

They lost the opportunity to add lights inside it? I miss dekaranger robo style of shinyng lights under translucid material... on the series it looks like glowing lights why not make the robot lights up on the toy?
The electronic can make the productions of the toys more expensive
This is also the same toyline that has the same articulation that it did in the 80's. I love Sentai/power rangers but man the zords are always a let down

It puzzles me as to what the port on Gigant Driller would be used for. It's just sitting there next to the head, but with no real use in the toyline. Makes me think that they were planning on something different that fell through.

Why even bother having a blue zord if it's going to be nothing but a sword in the combined form? The main set might as well have only four members, that being Red, Yellow, Green and Pink and have the blue jet be one of those weapon-themed zords.
