MAGIC ROOTING HORMONE -ALOE VERA GEL for CLONING Plants vs Costly Powders

- In this experiment how I used Fresh Aloe Vera Gel as a magic rooting hormone or the organic rooting hormone stimulant on two bougainvillea cuttings and also used Indole Butyric acid and Cinnamon Powder as controls. You will see this complete experiment using this DIY rooting hormone with results step by step. Stay tuned…
Well, Actually I have performed this experiment twice and both times I was successful with 100 percent success rate in the most recent one.
Well before Starting the experiment, the scientific basis or the concept of using aloe vera gel as a rooting stimulant to grow plants from cuttings. To keep it short, we all know that the natural rooting stimulant or anti-inflammatory substance responsible for rooting is salicylic acid and that’s it. Aloe gel contains this useful substance along with other useful enzymes, amino acids, saponins and minerals like calcium, manganese, magnesium and zinc.
Step 1: First of all we shall prepare a Fresh Aloe Vera Gel Rooting hormone. Pick a Fresh Aloe leaf and peel the green layer with a knife and find the magic rooting hormone gel inside. Carefully take out the gel into a container and make into a watery mixture - you can also use a hand blender for this job and also add small amount of water if you want.
Step 2: Choose your plant cuttings. And mind you! this works on any plant. I have chosen four bougainvillea cuttings for this experiment. I have followed all the other universal tips or hacks involved in growing successful cuttings like 45 degree cutting angles, stripping the leaves, sealing the top end with candle wax and so on.. You can follow my video on these Hacks in a separate video from the card link at the top right corner of the video.
Well now coming to Step 3: Choose a loose growing medium like coco-peat or sandy soil for the ease of root development. First make holes like these before you insert cuttings. I am inserting two of these cuttings by dipping them thoroughly in aloe vera rooting gel. Also for much better results, keep your cuttings soaked in aloe vera gel for about 6 hours.
Then am also keeping two controls for the experiment, One cutting am dipping in cinnamon powder and another in the indole butyric acid that is the chemical rooting hormone powder.
Step4: Finally spray some water to keep the soil moist, another hack here is, you can even mix the remaining aloe vera gel in water and water this container with the solution.
Now the Time For results: You can see the surprising results after 30 days - that’s really fast, young leaves have started their growth. Also one more thing, is I have done a similar experiment with aloe gel 3 months ago on this plant cuttings and you can see the results - though not 100 percent successful, there is one successful result
So there we have it folks, That was our interesting experiment on the magic rooting of cuttings using aloe vera gel.

I watched this video a couple of years ago and forgot to comment. The aloe rooting method is hands down the best way to root plants. I've used it on many types of cuttings and have never been disappointed. Thank you for your help!
Thanks for your review of the process. I can't wait!
Short. Sharp. Straight to the point. And additional vital info, from another video. Complete and it gives confidence to others to try. It is all about the topic and not about you. Good job.
Thank you sir for your very interesting videos. Years ago while living in Florida my brother had planted a pineapple plant and he did get results. However the plant stopped producing, until one day I happened to have a bottle of Alloe Vera juice that had been sitting around for awhile and I decided to pour the juice onto the plant and the result was that we actually got two pineapples that that grew that time one was bigger than the other but both were very sweet and delicious. I'm now getting ready to try again on some seedlings to see how they turn out. Thank you once again and keep on posting your videos.
Nothing to say Dr.... genius.. 🌹
This is amazing discovery and a natural organic rooting stimulant if it gives consistent results. Also i really liked your concept of watering the cuttings with the same aloe vera gel solution.

Very good idea 😊
Thank you for this! I grow aloe always for its air purifying benefits, but never thought to use it as a rooting agent. Going to try this and report back. How exciting: a new project!
😊
I found that flesh from fresh red jalapeno makes a GREAT rooting stimulant. My mom has a plant of immense sentimental value that belonged to my grandmother, large leaves and thick stemmed, that she acquired after her mom passed a decade ago - it was attacked by some kind of fungus i think - the leaves went dry/filmy and the stems limp like it was robbed of all water! Found out the entire root system was separated right beneath the topsoil. My niece at some point picked two stems/leaves, and had them hidden in a sippy cup by the shed, days old dirty water. Anyway I brought them inside, swapped that water with 50/50 tap water and red jalapeno tea.... root nubs had formed in what I thought was a week - mom and my niece claim it was three days!
I havent researched the science behind the red Js or their nutrient content, but it was enough to make several clones of that plant to gift to family/friends, and to transform a 7in vine trimming into an unstoppable force of nature in 5 years!
Im glad I came across this vid! It's about time to get in some pre-garden planning. Compost tea.... mmmmm
Amazing! Thank You 🙏
Nature offers us everything to survive healthy !
But the human being persists in destroying !
Blessings to You 🌹😊

thank you for the info in this video. I tried rooting powder for my roses with no success. I will try aloe method. I drink aloe vera juice from fresh aloe leave every day and I dont have any more joints pain and dont need to take any more pain med. aloe is a miracle plant , love it.
are you starting to take root?
Keep in mind that it takes 1-2 months for a rose to take root. During the whole time, the branch should not dry up. That means putting a transparent plastic cover to keep humidex value over 80%. The best temperature is around 15C, and the cutting should have none or max 1-2 hours of direct sun exposure in the first 3 weeks, although indirect sunlight is necessary. Also, if you are not using high concentration rooting hormone, you will need to keep at least one full leaf, so that the plant makes the hormone itself. But don't bury any leaf under the soil or the leaf will rot...
Very good information. Thanks
Yes sir it really works.
Thank you very much for this excellent work and the explanations given and good luck
Thanks so much
THANKS
I was searching for extracting auxins naturally but i got something more amazing also I am amazed by the small roots even after 3 months.

This is SO EXCITING. I can't afford the fancy root stimulator, but we have an aloe plant!
I just bought rooting hormone two days ago. I have aloe era growing all over my yard. I'm sad :(
Gerald N Hi, thanks for commenting. You got a chance to experiment this and share results with us please!
Good luck!
Gerald N try using the hormone on some cuttings and aloe on some and see what works best and try using aloe and hormone at the same time on others
neither will work best; one method will, however, work better.
rooting hormone powder has no shelf-life,grow your aloes.
