Interesting to see snow in WA. I've only ever tried going up once here in Colorado. It was end of season (Memorial day), we hit a trail that was oddly cleared. The walls on either side were 6 feet high but the trail itself was 1-2'. We were stuck so slowly progressed and ran into the guy who cleared it. He had a full on bulldozer and was digging for gold. He helped us turn around and head back down. His spot was the end of the trail, literally and for obvious reasons!

The Tacoma is a beast even stock, though sadly I just traded it in for a 2021 Tundra TRD offroad since I needed the towing capacity and room for the 2nd dog.
BHAHAAHHA!! at all of you fumbling through the deep snow on drone recovery duty. HILARIOUS!
I've owned two XJ's and one TJ and I've also owned two Tacoma's and currently have one now with a 3'' lift and 33's and honestly I think I'm going back to another Jeep this spring . Good luck with your Tacoma !
Using the drone was an awesome idea. Great day outings 👍👍
Us being stuck by the walls. Not in the snow. We either had to back up or keep going. Our less sane heads prevailed and we went further.
Looks like ya'll had a fun day. Not sure I would be brave enough to take any stick 4x4 out in the snow with those tires. At least you had a few Jeepers with you to pull or yank you out of sme tight spots.
Looking forward to seeing this new rig built videos.
I’m a firm believer in using things stock for awhile until modifying.
Subbing for Taco mods, especially the front locker mod - can't wait. Thanks!
Also you have to love that Northwest pacific wet snow....not good!
My built XJ got tiring after awhile and now I love wheeling my stock 1.5 Gen Xterra. There is something so much fun about a stock rig in sand / snow.
