Analogue meter fan here! It would be good if you put a separate video or podcast for cars with best AC. This is very much needed in our South Indian humid and hot conditions.
I own Aura. I Bought it in March 2023. I have driven 6100 KMs till now. I 99% drive within 3000 RPM. Mostly drive around 2000 RPM. I drive 65% highway and 35% in Chennai City. I get mileage around 19kmpl. I achieved 24kmpl mileage once, while I try to know the max mileage while driving around 1800rpm(cant do everyday 😊). I even took a photo of the MID which says the mileage is 24kmpl.
Design:
I like this Aura rear design, yes a bit quirky. But I like it.
Breaks:
As informed by Asir bro, its very spongey.
Real time hit:
I once hit a VW polo while driving at 60km. I saw that accident in my dashcam, the hit happened at 25kmpl. I don't see any major notable damage even to paint but the Hyundai logo had couple of dent. There was some dent in polo too. I was surprised. I don't say the build is great like Germans and TATA but its better the Maruti. It will sure get 3.5 star i. GNCAP.
The Verdict by Asir bro about this car is 100% true.
This car is for family who drive within 3500 RPM with legal speed and expect comfortable ride.
Service:
I completed 2 service, the Hyundai team really done well. My AC blow speed was not good, I missed to inform about it to service technician but they did test drive and addressed it.

thats true my friend has the hatchback of it, Grand i10 nios Diesel TurboCharged, it gives 25 with AC. Pretty good performance and fuel efficient and good quality. Didnt expect this kind of a deal breaker by Hyundai! Power, fuel efficiency and features.

Mileage I get average: 19 to 21kmpl
Occasionally when i drive alone I can get upto 23 or 24kmpl
I have a 70mai dashcam. Once I hit a dog at 55 kmph, where the footage helped me to clear insurance claim with ease. (Dog jumped over fine with no injuries)
And I don't feel a need for manual, In hills or plain roads. AMT does it job shifting gears. When i want to hold on to gears while down hill, put it on to manual mode and drive.
Driven around 10,000 until now.
Sudden overtakes in highway or small roads, the AMT drops gear aggressively and acceleration starts, cannot compare to DCT. But a easy to maintain car.

I bought nios in march 2023 as I felt the dual tone was available only in that one but after listening to your review I am feeling I should have bought Aura because it has softer ride whereas Nios is much stiffer and hence feels little harsh on the inside for passengers

I have been using more than a year. Fit and finish la best in segment. Sema smooth and refinement. Sema sporty look in my perspective. Yes I agree looks are subjective. Most underrated car. Personally do test drive then only u will get to know. This AURA is better than Dzire, amaze. Mileage i am getting 20 to 21 km in highways. worst traffic 12 to 13 in city.

Good comfy car and value for money. Biggest problem for Aura is Dzire. 55 mm wider, making it a relatively more comfortable 5 seater. Rides on better tyres (185/65R15 vs 175/60R15 I think) plus the Suzuki engine is far more fuel efficient. Which is why you see the cab segment dominated by the Dzire and little representation from Aura. Aura may not have much more to offer compared to the Dzire, except for the so-called "fit and finish". Looks more premium no doubt. Plus Aura has a slightly better boot space. But looks vs. long-term reliability and fuel efficiency is a no contest for many :)

2015 honda city ku recommended tyre size is 175/65/R15. But I want change it to 185/65. Is it cause any changes in mileage or anything else?? Suggestion pls.

Why car manufacturers not going for 1.2 l turbo petrol engines except for mahindra.
I guess cars under 4 metres are restricted to have 1.2l and below. So why not 1.2l turbo which would mean turbo lag is not an issue.
Decent choice for family use but with average built quality.

From my point of view if you observe closely this review is one way highlights the negatives of this car , few positives are fit and finish, interiors. But automobile engineering in the field of steering feedback, suspension, responsive engine, overall ride and handling is missing from the second largest car seller of India that is to be explained sir.

23:38 my wife liked the interiors but rejected because of its suspension and bouncy ride. If you ride through the expansion joints of a bridge you won’t buy this car. Earlier you used to drive on a bridge with expansion joints.

If it is car review camera should focus on the car attributes more than the person. When he is talking about the engine bay camera is not showing the bay but the person. Similarly while driving the roadview and gear shifting should be shown maximum . I think it is editing problem. It is not necessary to show the person ( Asir) more and more. His voice is enough..keeping one camera from driving point of view os enough.

Probably, for some reason you are not happy with kia and Hyundai. I have 1st gen i20 still runs without any running issues other than normal servicing. Strange that you feel Hyundai cars are not reliable.
