I am a diehard Liverpool fan, but the ten points deduction to our city’s brothers/sisters is outrageous. When the other team supporters come and start to shout “feed the scousers” from my perspective it’s not an insult but a pride of honour to the workers of the city and the whole world. It’s the city built by the workers for the people not for the elites. And to see the fighting spirit of the city of Liverpool Teams is absolutely amazing. Including Everton, it’s taken them almost 30 years for them to discover their Soul and their DNA what it means to be a football club in the city of Liverpool. It’s so great to see the revival of Everton too. It’s important for the working class people of the city of Liverpool and the whole world.
Which club got 10 point deduction and why?
10 points is not enough. The points deduction should guarantee relegation, which is what they deserve, but 10 points with such poor teams around won't get the job done.

Nothing outrageous about their points deduction at all! If you operate beyond the bounds of the laws of the game you deserve to be punished accordingly. It only become an issue if city and Chelsea aren't held to the same standard.

I don't understand how they can be awarded a penalty 7 minutes after the foul and several passes had taken place? At Spurs, we couldn't have the goal because 90 seconds of free play had been taken, but here 7 minutes had elapsed before the ref went to the screen. Baffling.

Because the game wasn't interrupted. It was an ongoing var check. I'd say it's fair. I'm pretty sure it happens because we asked for a fair var check against Spurs.
@@kev9514 I've just watched it back on the full match recording on LFC tv. Nobody from CP appealed for the penalty. Not a single player put their hand up. Play continued for 7 minutes with the ball in play, it went from end to end and wasn't stopped for a possible foul by Nunez. The referee made no indication there was an on-going check. Neither did the match commentary get any notification of any such checking happening. They even thought it was for the Nunez incident at first. I just think it's ridiculous that it took 7 minutes to make a decision to contact the referee to stop play. Imagine if either side had scored and the goal had been taken away, as happened in the first half. I think there was contact with Quansah initially and I'd have accepted it at the time if VAR had stepped in, but 7 minutes later? I thought it was supposed to be a clear and obvious mistake, missed on field. It's hardly that clear if it takes 7 minutes to review it!
I'm not suggesting for a moment any sort of conspiracy against LFC, I'm just dismayed it took so long.

I do think its the Spurs decision that led to this situation. As much as I appreciate it, I also agree w you. THAT long for a VAR to call upon a check is weird af. It totally ruin the momentum of the game. But i also think if the ball went out of play, they would've stopped the game for a check.
If it was a goal tho....... Remember that UEL game that Quanshah scored and VAR apparently went a long back to cancel out the goal for a handball on Macca. Dude that pisses me off

Van Dijk is a smart defender, but sometimes he makes stupid decisions. He chose to recklessly stick his foot in to try and get the ball when it was extremely tight and Alisson looked like he was going to save it. I expect better Virgil, because I know you are better than that.

Most of the time he got "caught" on the ball was because of poor or mistimed passes to him. He didn't have the greatest game but he also wasn't done many favors by his teammates putting in him terrible situations with THEIR choices.
