just realized how insane it must be to just walk in and listen to these guys talk about all their different projects. like polygon, mbmbam, taz - they have created SO much content.
Do yourself a favor - Just listen to their podcast from episode 1 (My Brother, My Brother, and Me), laugh your ass off, and stay away from their fandom like it's the absolute plague, and you'll have a source of laughter for the rest of your life.
i asked the question about til death do us blart! i also had a photo op with them the next day and we talked about the show some more, they were so lovely about my costume too, def my favorite celeb interaction at a con (also we were definitely louder than it seems in this video, i promise!!)
Im only three minutes in and i already feel so happy with how travis was explaining the process so nicely, offering people to say their pronouns, and basically asking consent from the audience??? Griffin said theyre the twin kings of the room and i would happily serve these kings
Griffin telling people to use the microphones like an ice cream cone is just the best. As a producer for some very large, very corporate live events- it’s pretty much the same way I explain it to people, too. 😂
feel like most of the audience just walked into this hall and sat down to see who they were?? idk, i guess i'm just used to hearing their face to face show crowd energy, i feel like people are sometimes way too serious and formal at cons haha
it was a massive hall and the location of this panel is so out of the way we are most definitely all fans, we tried our best to be loud and obviously it didn’t translate to this audio but we all had a great time!
I watched a certain history rap musical (MC Lincoln) first as a bootleg, then live with a different cast, then the official streamed version and the boot was probably the better experience out of all those
The solution is not to allow or support more bootlegging. The solution is to get the bloated out of control Broadway budgets under control, and not set ticket prices at hundreds of dollars. There has also, historically, been major pushback in theater against filming productions because theater, by its nature, is transient and meant to be experienced live. That is elitist, and there’s no reason Broadway shows can’t do what the Met Opera has done for decades now and live stream productions to movie theaters or PBS stations. She Loves Me did a theater live stream pre pandemic and it went great, but was kind of controversial amongst other Broadway productions because it removed the barrier to access (and also was filming theater in general) So the solution is to change the culture, not to ruin your own experience as a theatergoer by being focused on making a terrible bootleg recording off your phone. I’m a theatrical costume designer, and Broadway shows don’t pay designers all that well up front, most of the money is coming from royalties for use of those designs as the show continues to play. Dressers and wardrobe crew are hired on a show by show basis. Depending on the theater other crew are as well. Bootlegs which prevent ticket sales also harm all those people working really hard and not making a lot of money.
@@User-hg1jk They mention it again a bit towards the end so I don't think they're goofin!!! Gosh I'm so excited, I hope they're able to keep the process for that going because I'd absolutely LOVE to see it
Having “Does that answer your question?” as an inbuilt rip cord is so nice.

This is the very first time I've seen Griffin look even remotely close to his age as an adult
The Boyz are forever their TV show ages and appearance in my head lol
His side profile weirdly reminds me of John Green
Not familiar with their content but they seem like cool people! I'll have to check them out!
The McElroys are fantastic
we got another one boys
they're very funny guys, and super genuine
They are best boys

if justin were there he and i would’ve engaged in a psychic battle of social anxiety and one of us would’ve been destroyed
"I will sit on that. I will think on that. I will pray on that." Is how I will respond to any question I'm not sure about the answer for.
Every time I hear about the TAZ TV show I get excited that it might actually happen.
The McElroy Family has changed my life, and Amiibo Corner was life-affirming media for me.

“Can we cuss?” God I love them
As long as it's not Candle Nights
watching griffin’s reactions to all the questions in real time is so delightful
40:10 yooooo, Louie Zong and geothebio getting a shoutout!
I thought that was really nice too. Those people made those YEARS ago, so for griff to rattle off the names so quick was lovely
So glad to be able to see this. Thank you! Can never get enough of those good good McElboys!
Love these boys. Thank you for uploading this! Do you have their panel with Felicia Day?
I want a 7 hour episode
Thanks for uploading this, love these good good boys!
Thanks for uploading! Was great to see their panel even though I couldn't attend myself.
Aww I miss Hoops! Love these good good boys.
"Please don't tell that story outside of this room." 41k views later...
I love these gosh darn boys
Travis' shoes though 🔥🔥🔥
I just love these good good boys.
Thank you for posting these. Will you also be uploading the Clone Wars panel from Awesome Con 2023?
Yes. It goes up in 35 minutes.
I did the same thing as Griffin with the tithe envelopes in church! 😅

I totally agree. The energy in the room seemed weird. Maybe it was better in person.

I think it’s the audio mostly
@jaijais glad to hear the energy in the room was good. Sucks that it didn't carry over to the video
Yeah it seems like the room was just huge and the crowd wasn’t super big so most of their sounds just got lost
Its funny they still have social anxiety because I just see Twin Kings
❤ love the boys!!!
Griffin with the deep Blippi lore
History can't be forgotten lest we repeat it
Hero Quest
Ok but why do these boys have so many water bottles?? 😅
So that Griffin can flip them and dab, of course!
Thorsty
You can't take the chance that you might get dehydrated.
Thank you for posting from awesome con! Will you by chance be posting the voice-a-palooza main stage event with Rob Paulsen and Wes Johnson?
Yep
@@FandomSpotlite yayyyy! Can’t wait :)
Working on it now. On our Tiktok, there's a snippet to enjoy.
Bootlegging is based and praxis i hate theater elitism

Griffin says he's from D.C. now, but he'll move again, and then he'll talk 💩 about it.
