I really appreciate your time in putting this video out there. I followed the procedure, including using the same core removal tool. I broke the bead all around the tire, but, the tire stem/valve was still stuck at the point of entry. Eventually, I worked the stem loose enough to move it but it required a great pull on the stem itself and that area around the stem. Was much harder to do than shown here where the stem appears free from almost the beginning.
Nevertheless, this video showed me the way there.
    Thank you.

Thank you very much. Do you know the root cause for the tilted valve problem? My bicycle has this problem in both tires.

Mine was caused by having underinflated tires. I had new tires installed by my LBS and rode all summer without a problem. A couple of months later I went on a long ride and noticed the tires getting flatter & flatter. I literally couldn't put air in the tires because the valve stem was at a sharp angle and against the spokes. Had to take the bike back to the LBS and they quickly fixed it for me. So lesson learned: ALWAYS check your tires and inflate properly before riding. This will prevent the tube & stem from slipping out of position. HTH.

I found that WD-40 helps, apply it along the whole rim in the space between tire and metal.

How do you stop the wheels from sliding around the rims to prevent this?

Keep your tires inflated to the proper pressure. Riding a bike with low pressure causes the valve stem to go crooked.

So removing the core was not necessary...

No....just quicker if you have a core remover.
